I'm using a amiko alien 2, the enigma2.sh is located in /usr/local/bin.

it works great when i tenet : bbc_pmt_v5.py -t long -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0

Any ideas?

you have a sh4 box so your E2 is a different type that could only work with telnet command

Hello, I've been trying for weeks on and off to get 27.5W TV sorted but am still having problems and have no sound or picture.

I have switched from VIX which was mainly aligned to 28.2E reception, to Openrsi which supports my Gigablue Quad and is based on OpenPLi and have installed oscam-ymod 18.51.

I have installed bbc_pmt_v5 files into usr/bin and set to 755

I have updated opkg and installed dvbsnoop.

I have used telnet init 4 before editing lamedb file in etc/enigma2 and have created oscam.keys with what I believe to be the latest keys. Then Telnet init 3 and restarted Oscam_ymod

However I have no pictures or sound and this is the result of my first telnet check:

openrsi 4.0 gbquad

gbquad login: root
root@gbquad:~# /usr/bin/bbc_pmt_v5.py -t long -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
capmtType: long, demux: /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0

trying with demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0

I'm sure I'm not too far off but as a total novice I wanted to read through all this post and try it myself first without having to ask for help but now after so many weeks any help and advice would be much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

Sincere thanks to andres66, I now have all tv and radio programmes working.

Also thank you to all contributors and script writers, most of us would be at a loss without your enthusiasm, knowledge and hard work.

Thanks again to everyone involved, specially to claasi.

Is it possible to stream these services to PC ?

I try them on webinterface, like I do on other "normal" services, and I get nothing.

I'm not sure but in the long mode it is hopefully possible only if the same channel is actually on. The same goes for recording.

I got the same problem. May be the way you call vlc ist the point.

Try recording the service and play it with "vlc.exe --demux ffmpeg recording.ts"

Yes, I mean the same channel is actually on screen. I get nothing.

But I can record and play them without problems on ET's internal HDD. I mean live stream.

I know, jpuigs. But the point I would figure out is:

- is it a problem of streaming?

- is it a problem of the vlc (possibly used for playing a stream)

In other words: streaming might work if you use another client instead of vlc or calling vlc with the parameters mentioned above.

I was able to play a record on the hdd with vlc only if used those additional parameters.

I was unable to play a stream as I could not find out how to bypass those needed parameters of vlc when clicking on the webinterface streaming button.

@ BBC-Hörer,

Yes, I can play the recorded stream on VLC if using the perameters you told me yesterday.

jpuigs:

it is the same I realized. Maybe streaming also works if you can bypass these parameters. If you should get it work please let me know.

 I have played live streams, by creating a direct access link, and giving it the following parameters:

(Let's take BBC NEWS)

"C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --demux ffmpeg http://192.168.0.13:8001/1:0:1:1100:1000:1:CFDACE7:0:0:0:

It works,but it suffer some picture freezes....

Sure! I have the three files in /usr/bin just like you guys and i've just added the line "/usr/bin/enigma_pre_starter.sh" in /etc/init.d/rcS. So at every start up rcS calls for the enigma_pre_starter script.

Thanks jpuigs for leading in the right direction in regards to streaming the channels, I discovered that using this VLC syntax it works even more stable:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --ts-extra-pmt 500=501:1,502:3 http://192.168.xxx.xxx:8001/1:0:1:1100:1000:1:CFDACE7:0:0:0:

Please note that for the HD channels one must be using the following syntax (highlighted in bold):

--ts-extra-pmt PMT=VPID:27,APID:17 instead of --ts-extra-pmt PMT=VPID:1,APID:3

27=H264

17=AAC

1=MPEG video

3=MPEG audio

Hi All

Many thanks to meier2k for his step by step guide on Mar 20. I read the post and thought, I can do this on my XP1000. Wrong!
I also went down to our local satellite shop and bought an Icecrypt S1600CHD with everything pre-installed just to prove that
my dish setup was right, and this box works so my dish is OK, but I really want to use my Octagon XP1000 running Vix Helios 017.

I have installed dvbsnoop and I updated opkg, to be on the safe side.
I am using cams-oscam-ymodv19-49-cccam-2.3.0_vix_all.ipk with the keys in /usr/keys/oscam.keys. meier3k mentions that oscam_ymod
needs to be in the path specified by oscam startup, I don't really know what that means.

I used the files from bbc_pmt_v5.zip and put them into /usr/bin and set the rights to 755 and I changed bbc_pmt_starter.sh to read
scriptName="bbc_pmt_v5.py -t long -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0"
I don't use http authentication enabled for webIF so didn't implement the suggestion made.
I edited lamedb replacing my file with the file uploaded by escalibur on April 16 (thank you for that) especially as XL8tor
said that this file "did the trick", my thanks to XL8tor.

I manually edited one record in lamedb which was to change the BBC 2 HD settings as per meier2k's example for BBC 2 HD
making sure that f:4 was changed to f:5 because in the first instance getting one channel working is a good foundation to work from.

I am getting the message Service invalid! (Timeout reading PMT) on all channels including BBC 2HD, here is my BBC 2 HD entry in lamedb -
    4440:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
    BBC Two HD
    p:BBC,c:0017d5,c:0317d5,c:050001,c:1217d6,C:2600,f:5
    1041:00820000:1d4c:fbff:25:0

MrA posted a helpful message on April 24, I can see that I am following the very same path as him, so like MrA so here is my telnet output

root@xp1000plus:~# /usr/bin/bbc_pmt_v5.py -t long -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
capmtType: long, demux: /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
currentSid: 0x4440
trying with demux /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
pmtPid: 0x17d4
Error(145): read (PID 0x17d4): Connection timed out
0x9f 0x80 0x32 0x19 0x03 0x44 0x40 0x09 0x00 0x13 0x01 0x81 0x08 0x0c 0xfd 0xac
0xe7 0x10 0x00 0x00 0x01 0x82 0x02 0x01 0x00 0x84 0x02 0x17 0xd4

I then waited for a bit but nothing much was happening so I pressed CTRL C and got the following message;
^CTraceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/bbc_pmt_v5.py", line 50, in <module>
    time.sleep(0.5)
KeyboardInterrupt

I guess I am missing something somewhere and would really appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance.

Could it be you are missing the right keys in oscam.keys?

Do you open any other BISS channels? Please check if you can decrypt any BISS channels with oscam ymod.
