Lol something like that. I was just saying that there are still many of us that are still struggling to sort the sound on the HD's. Non linux STB's do it simply.

Sorry for my question but english is not my language. Ok, I understand. ;)

This means that non linux STB's are better for 27.5 W.

No.

At best it means that for this specific type of "illegal or dubious" activity, this type of box may not be the best suited.

We tolerate this discussion here from the technical perspective, and not because we think it's legal to watch these channels using a "externally derived" BISS key.

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

From my point of view it's all too clear that it's NOT the intention that anyone can watch these services, whether the encryption is weak or strong, that is not important. The BBC has decided that the services are NOT FTA and thus watching them is illegal. You guys are quite lucky this topic has been tolerated here for so long.

Those (BBC) services are FTA if you have the money.... like anything else in Capitalism...

We have, but we're not going to give you that (for obvious reasons).

Since his profile says: "Last Active 01 May 2014 07:16", it might just be he has quit the scene?

No, I am already not very happy with this discussion here, which I think is on the fringes of legality. We as OpenPLi are definitely not contributing to it, in any way of form.

Besides that, I consider that invasion of privacy, this is not why you have to give your email address when you register.

So, yes it is possible, and no, we are not going to do it.

Sorry WanWizard i wasn't saying that people should go and get a specific system for the sole purpose of viewing pay/encrypted channels illegally. I was just pointing out that non linux stb's seem to be able to bypass certain things easier than others.  I think PLi is fantastic and many people have allot to thank you for.

Here is a new bbc_pmt_v5.py file. I make a little change and now BBC News works. I use a Vu+ SOLO and cam OSCam-ymod. No switching to mgcamd is necessary.

Yes, it works with mgcamd

The only change I see is timeout = 20 , before was 200.

How have you managed to figure it out?

I figure it out, because some times there was a picture but in most of the cases not. My idea was it could be a timing error. I changed another value but this did not work. Next I increase this value but no success. I decrease it and it works.

 ok. THANKS.

I couldn't have imagined it, because on my ET9000 never got any picture on this channel.

Good job.

I wonder if the change from 200 to 20 does not have any side effects.

Is there someone here willing to interpret the individual lines in the script for us?
