I have a CI interface maxcam twin v2 with Fortune 2.45. Works very well except with BBC 27.5 W. What must I change in the BBC scripts that CI interfaces works?

Did you make init 4 and init 3?

Telnet: init 4

Copy lamedb from box to Pc and edit it with Notepad++

Save changed lamedb.

Copy it back to box.

Telnet: init 3

Restart box.

What is not clear?

Each channel entry consists of 3 lines, the one with the name is in the middle.

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

@robinson

in the lamedb file there are no three lines with name in the middle, if you look you will see continuos lines of text which make it difficult to edit,

but all sorted now with a lot of help

Hi micky,

I had problems with maxcam too, it only does work when you pull the CI out. But there is a trick, you have to go into the CI Menu and allocate the cannels or providers which the maxcam should unscramble. Its a bit of work but once you have done that it wont get in the way when you are tuning into the bbc channels.

That means, you watch BBC on 27.5 W with mgcamd or oscam and not with maxcam?
