Having read this thread twice from beginning to end, and tried to do some of it, I'm still puzzled.

Are there any images anywhere for the DM800SE or the VU mini solo that are set up to do this

without all the adding and configuring different things?  I have the necessary XXXXXXXX and

would like to get it going,

Pity, however I do admire and thank you for your persistence with this topic and given the recent changes in space

its one of great interest now.

Perhaps you could give a summary of those things that need to be done to put the jigsaw together.  I have a

couple of boxes as mentioned, a strong signal etc.

Right, it should be working for you.

- use "short"

- no need to edit lamedb, just do scan of BBC TP

First try to run *py script by hand to check it's working

Then copy all 3 files from latest zipfile (2x .sh files 1x .py file) into /usr/bin, set rights, reboot E2

kota: I cannot receive the 28,2° services anymore. What I did was installing crossepg and within crossepg i updated the XMLTV providers "Rytec UK BBCi XMLTV" and "Rytec UK BBCi".

There does not appear any epg. Can you tell me what i do wrong or did i missanderstand you?

I would uninstall crossepg if you're using openpli image. Download both xmltv import and xmltv import-rytech from the feed as well as the EPG import plugin and then using the latter, press sources and choose whichever packages you need. Forget about Rytec UK BBCi XLMTV and just use Rytec UK XMLTV.

What's the difference between various EPG plugins you mentioned, please? Why would we need the 3 you mention and just one (XMLTV Importer) wouldn't do?

I have been able to watch the channels (merit goes not to me of course!) immediately after the scripts came out, but I am now having some problems/uncoherent behaviour/details I cannot sort out.

I have DB7025HD running Openpli4.

I have tried with versions 3 and 4 of the script.

Since the beginning I could not watch ITV/CH4. But at times I could in these days. I cannot find the reason it works intermittently. Any ideas?

Any good lamedb chunk (if changed since those published here in the early days)?

I am now receiving this message from the script for CH4:

I also have problems with BBC3HD (at the correct times, of course), which I managed to receive for some days and then not any more.

I have used old and fresh settings. I also refreshed from a transponder scan, but nothing changed.

Any help appreciated...
