Guys here is new version for you to try. Lots of things are changes. I guess its the best to try it out for yourself.

 

I added fifth tuner support (E) and bulcrypt encryption is now also supported in cryptobar (BU). And tons of other stuff. Skin is also faster now.

I installed 1.7 (before you posted 2.0) via opkg install. Now my et9x00 won't start anymore. i see just the openpli Wallpaper, display is saying: "booting...". ssh is working, so i have a console. How do I change the skin without GUI? 

 

opkg remove enigma2-plugin-skins-metrixhd-wpstyle-mod-pli_1.7c_all.ipk leeds to "no packages removed"

Same problem with 2.0. The box isn't booting. is there any trick? Or is it not working on et9x00?

Not sure why it wouldnt boot. Skin does not interfere with system files.

It shows the wallpaper and is running, I can use the shell. It doesn't show the GUI, which could be related to the skin. But There is also no tv-picture, which is very strange. It has to be the skin, I didn't change anything else and when removing it the box works fine after a reboot.

I noticed that latest versions of this skin are leaking memory. Before releasing new version I need to check which newly added converter is causing this.

I have the same problem with my et4000 with this skin...it wouldnt boot?

hi, the skin works on my et4000 yeppie...... but  the info bar doesn't fit all on my screen...is there a way to customize it...because i like the skin verry much

i have a strange problem. as seen above, i had this skin working perfectly, i then edited in the weather information, and everything was fine. following the advise in the git for the skin, i installed ocram picons, and without realising, installed them to hdd, this meant that my zap times were huge as the hdd had to spin up each time. so i removed the picons, and reinstalled them to usb, all with no problems

 

i then uninslatted the set of picons, and tried a different set, all ocram, and the receiver then hung with a picon all messed up, so i restarted the box, which then refused to boot

 

no problem, as i have a backup which i know is good, and recent, so i flashed this, and the box is back up and running, install this skin again, select the skin, box reboots, and fails to boot

 

any ideas anyone?

Sorry guys for your problems but I really dont see why box wouldnt boot? For me its working for weeks without any boot problems. Iam using DUO btw.

ive just tried again, with a complete fresh built image, and then installing the skin, did a full reboot after installing, then set the skin, and rebooted

 

after the receiver boots, it has only the bootscreen in the background, the clock shows in the top right, with the correct time and date, but the infobar is blank, the icons and the line across the middle show, all in pale white, but no other information. the name of the last channel shows in the receivers VFD, but the receiver is unresponsive to any remote or front panel command, i also have no ftp or telnet access

 

definatley strange, as i had it running perfectly last night, as the screenshots from where i was editing it show??

ive just reflashed, again, and tried installing mymetrix hd from the feeds, with exactly the same results, receiver locks after rebooting and only a reflash will sort it out

 

im now going to go back to an older image with older drivers, and try this again, as it was working fine up untill i installed the picons and it crashed

I've download it from the feed..but so as i said above the info bar doesn't fit all..how can i fix this? and how can i add the weather forecast?
