Hi, is there any difference between the DM500HD and the DM500HD-S2 ?

There is only a DM500HD from DMM (which is S2 by default). Googling around it looks like DM500HD-S2 is a Chinese clone, so stay away from it.

I think, there will be more flash. DM800SE is in version 2 too. I saw some changes on schwercraft for it.

There is a BIG difference between DM500HDv2 (version 2), and DM500HD-S2 (which does not exist as valid DMM type number).

Sorry but this is an original DM from DMM, it has a new Remote control, almost the same, just a little bit difference in front, but i can confirm it is an original, tested with the DMM server and it is, same turner, flashed last Pli and work awesome, under box in the tag you can see the modell name: DM500HD-S2, so no Chinese, just made in TAIWAN
