Does Oscam Ymod version work in OpenPLi?
I am particularly interested in ET9000 but if it works on Dreamboxes, it should work here as well.
Anyone can confirm Ymd works here?
It is not in the feeds, I'm afraid.

Oscam Ymod is a version with emu included.
I have done some research here and there and found a proper ipk, so I can confirm it does work on ET9000 with OpenPLi.

An illegal closed source oscam spinoff with a hackload of emulators so it can handle softcam.key files.

Great programmer or not he is using oscam sources released under GPL V3 and he is not releasing his sources. Thats not done!
But perhaps this is done since there is emu code in ymod.

As matter of fact some issues are solved by Ymod and should go also into sources of oscam. Never seen that happen either.
Can you ask your friend to deliver patches back to the oscam community so we can benefit in some way of his great work.

Adding EMU code to oscam would not be difficult if it is really needed. There are public emu sources, from vdr-sc and other projects.

Its not about the emu code, we dont want that in oscam it will bring the whole open source project in danger.
Its more about some other (more) legal features.
Like dvbapi join feature (already added by coding /testing it now nat geo wild hungarian also works)
Perhaps emmfilters, cardsystem enhancements, dvbapi functionality improvements.
That kind of things, all except the emu part in fact.

Oscam ymod does s#ck.... simply because they do not respect the licences from oscam...
If they want to make a emu for keys they could better make a seperate program that can hookup to oscam and emulate cards....
But not stealing this project add a tiny bit to it and do not commit anything back and in addition saying they are better

The more of the developers oscam who are interested in russian providers?
Author ymod fix the problem for a week, what else does the common man?

That sounds too short-term. The main (long term) task is to make the world a better place. Large steps in the right direction can only be achieved by collaboration, not by a single person doing the best he can and then not contributing back.Author ymod fix the problem for a week, what else does the common man?

What improvements (apart from EMU) does oscam-ymod has? If they don't contain cardsystem "tricks" that could be revoked if gone public, I see no reason - other than selfish ego - to not release these improvements.
