Today it was anounced that 4OD is available for Freesat. Does this give opportunities for Dreamboxes? I read the anouncement here: http://www.freesat.co.uk/4-on-demand/

Good to know, thanx!
This was not working with Ex-Pat Shield, as the proxy, I would imagine, was blocked regularly...
Keep us posted, please...

none what so ever, as freesat boxes are closed source.

Then why can I watch BBC and ITV on demand, but not 4OD or Demand5? Has it to do with the video format, or?

we have a working demand5 plugin for OnDemand but as every thing uploaded to their server since august 2012 is DRM protected and cant be displayed with enigma2 it's pretty much killed that one off, 4OD is down due to changes made by ch4 and it's going to be very hard to fix if at all due to the new methods they using. closed source boxes like freesat wont have a issue as they pay a licence for access and will be given the solutions for their platforms.

The BBC iPlayer also don't work for me anymore. I can select the programs, but the streams don't start.
Working perfectly fine here through the original OE-Alliance OnDemand plugin version.
on which receiver? I have a DM8000 and I use the ondemand-oe2.0_beta1_all plugin.

Thats not the OE-A version, thats the so called DeVixed version that was modified, the version i'm using is the one from the OE-Alliance GIT here.

In the UK? Or elsewhere, as well?

That's OK but since there is an issue with proxies for the rest of the world, maybe it should be said...

I never had a long ride with free proxies in STB, sadly... It quickly comes to a standstill...
But I would like to try again, if possible, please - anyone with an ipk file?
Namely, I can't get BBC on my dish setup, so it would be really cool...

Well, this seems to be working fine from the very beginning.
Attached the ipk as downlaoded via my Ultimo: please try if it works for you.

Very cool, thanx!!!
However, my internet is down, so no way to stream, since I have a USB stick modem replacement for a couple of days, as I wait for them to fix it...
But ASAP, of course, when possible...
