New version v1.5!

Changelog:

1. New default picon in "OpenPli and Metrix" style (thx IPMAN)

2. MultiEPG in Metrix style (thx blzr)

3. Tuner info & Resolutin info alignments

4. Minor layout changes

5. Various text cut fixes (thx IPMAN)

Just install or update ipk via telnet or from usb stick.

DOWNLOAD

After installing this version,I cannot find skin in menu "Skins",its missing....I see it in :/share/enigma2/,but ....

PS.Its a clean fresh instalation of todays image....Box is et5000

After the plugin installation you need to reboot your receiver.

Then you need to go under plugin and select metrix plugin.

Then you need to save (yellow button).

After this your box will be restarted once more and then you need to go to skin selection and select MatrixHD skin.

Now its OK,but its too complicated?!?In previous version I was no need to do all this thing to see skin in menu :)

Excellent

ok, my 2 cents regarding recent changes:
- what's the purpose of general enlarging of the fonts/item heights on different screens lately (first of all the channel selection)? IMHO it's not the most fortunate idea, on 50" the entries look (really!) huge (and together with font color changed to white it hurts the eyes a bit);
it's a waste of space and really doesn't look that great...
- removing of channelselection and movie selection 'Title' - I think to know 'where' are you (in which bouquet/folder) was pretty useful info, wasn't it?
- XPicon in movieselection - I know it looks fancy ;), but you're losing some precious space for event description for displaying the info of quite a negligible importance IMHO; (and yet another 'external' converter is needed for this btw...)
so, maybe these changes could be reconsidered (esp. the first two)?
thanks
True sarcasm doesn't need green font...

In channel selection big problem, the epg line is too small ! It's impossible to see the entire line.

PS : sorry for my english, i'm speak french.

Good

I also didn't like the fonts enlargement and color changes. 1.3 was better. Maybe smaller TVs need larger fonts, but on 47" I use now it is huge.

@IPMAN: Yes, much better, I think 1.3 was also showing 16 channels per page.

Yes because I have forgot to delete skin.xml from ipk. So yes, it was easier to install but once you've upgraded you had same setting than me - not good ;-) So better to do these steps. And you need to do only with clean install....

I would agree. Personally I don't like huge fonts. So feel free to commit the change in the repo. Hope IPMAN will not complain :-) Also Xpicon is not very useful in movielist selection. I think simple text would be enough. Could you please change it back? I'm pretty busy these days.

Actually it is a good idea to have an initial skin installed with ipk, configured with the default values of the configuration plugin.

It was written thousands time here. Make sure you have OpenPLi 3.x installed. First you need to install the plugin. Then you need to restart receiver. After this you will see the plugin in modules. Select MyMetrix, configure as you want and press yellow button to save the settings and restart enigma. After this, go to the skins selection, select MyMetrix skin and restart. That's all...

Which version worked for you? It happened to me 2 or 3 times in the last week when I saved plugin configuration that receiver got stuck on wheels, but hard restart helped. No need to re-install the image. Wonder if anybody else has this problem too... Strange. What numbers next to clock ?? Could be auto-update ? Usually there is only channel number...Btw, what is glass utility?

the movie list settings menu is too small, the choices lay above the options

would it be possible to integrate de movie list icons which show what to at the end of the movie (play next, return to movie list, etc)
