Well, you say it doesn't work. And it doesn't give you an error message. So how do you know it doesn't work then? Something must have given you a clue?

 

It's not an OpenPLi skin, so I leave it to whoever converted it to fix the problem. You have his github account and repository, why don't you add an issue, instead of ask here? We're not going to fix it, and appearantly that guy is not responding here...

is there something with your eyes or are you not willing to READ my error description? what's the matter with you? I give you a description of the error that happend an THAT'S your response?

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
- hung in standby
- freezing in list mode
- can not remove mymetrix plugin correctly - the plugin still shown in the installed plugin list

How many times do I have to say it? It is not ours, we haven't made it, we haven't made it compatible (or not) with OpenPLi, it's not in our feeds, we don't give you the option to install it. You did that yourself, manually.

 

Where in this sentence does it say it is our responsibility to fix it? I'm already doing far more that I should, as the official stand on anything 3rd party is "contact the author".

 

This is a bit like bolting a Toyota part onto your Mercedes, and then shout and complain to Mercedes that your car doesn't work anymore. You're barking up the wrong tree mate, all I'm trying to do is assist.

 

I didn't see the error description (we're on page 18 on this thread at the moment, I don't know where you posted the original report), but from the looks of it, the code that comes with the skin is just crap (and/or overwrites core components, which then crash), and the only one that can solve that is the author. So back to my original suggestion: go to the guy's github repo, and open an issue.

Isn't it a good idea to let them know, that their port of mymetrixHD is NOT working correct on the actual version of openpli 4.x ?

 

maybe they can fix the errors - I never wanted you to do that!

Hi, I like the idea very much but unfortunately I can't get it work. No matter what I change in settings, the skin is not changed after the restart. It stays in deafult. What I am doing wrong?

 

My system:

OpenPLi-4.0-beta-et7x00-20150125 and Metrix HD skin installed from menu - list of skins.

Sorry, I've just noticed that the skin I tried to modify was modded version od Metrixhd, not the original one. So it's working after all. Shame it can't modify this moded version, I definitely prefer "several next items" in channel list which the original Metrixhd doesn't have.

Hi,

i have a problem with picons in channels list. I can not see them. I put picons in usb/Xpicons/picon and I can see picon on infobar and when change channel but not in channels list. Help! Where am I doing wrong? I have istallated mymetrixhd 1.5.

I found how to put picons in channels list: i edit skin.xml changing render=XPicon to render=Picon and putting all picons in a folder named only Picon (not XPicon -> Picon)

Can anyone point me in second infobar where it stand satellite name " Eurobird/Astra (28.2E) from where inforbar pull that info cause its not from satellites.xml

I would like to change that as well as other satellites names displayed in second infobar because of the lenght.

 

Any help is welcome or ideas .....
