Why is the boot logo "bootlogo-dm800se.jpg" invisible, after the file has been exchanged by another file with the same dimensions [1280 x 720 24-bit] ???
Installed image: "OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20130403.nfi"

Logo's are not jpg files, they are mvi's, single-frame mpeg files.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

there is a jpg, which is displayed by the bootloader.
Which is probably very picky about the jpg size and format.
Please try a few different jpg's, and find one which works for you.
Thanks for the quick replay guys!
@ WanWizard
I talk about the picture in [.jpg form], as I wrote above, who have been placed in the /boot folder!
This one:
This comes before the [.mvi mpeg1] files, you are talking about, on booting procedure…
@ pieterg
You are right, this is very tricky but I come not behind why!!!
I have tried more than 20 different .jpgs with the dimensions of [1280 x 720] and [720 x 576] with different color depths between 4 and 32 bit, but no success!!!
The most suspect and tricky situation I could remark was after I exchanged the picture with the original one with the same result, Black Screen!!!
Another question about booting:
How can be possible to use except the [bootlogo.mvi] the other three MVIs? [backdrop.mvi, boot_wait.mvi, switschoff.mvi]
Any suggestions are welcome...

how do you replace the jpg? You know you need to (re-)mount the /boot partition in rw mode, before you can replace it?
First I have tried to mount the /boot folder via telnet using this string [mount -t jffs2 /dev/mtdblock2 /boot] , to become temporary the /boot folder open and writable
After the many times of trying, I added this string [/dev/mtdblock2 /boot jffs2 rw 0 0] to fstab file in /etc folder to let the /boot folder any time open and writable

@pieterg
Many thanks, you are once again right!
I changed the mount arguments as you mentioned, and it works!!!
Open is now the last question: How can I use except the [bootlogo.mvi] the other three MVIs? [backdrop.mvi, boot_wait.mvi, switchoff.mvi]
Any suggestions are welcome...

These are symlinks to /usr/share/bootlogo.mvi. In order to use seperate mvi's, remove the symlinks from /usr/share, and replace them with individual mvi's
First I deleted the simlinks on /usr/share as you suggested, and replaced them with the real MVIs, with no success!
Then modified the symlinks on /boot to guide them on the real MVIs on /usr/share the same unsuccessful result.
The STB booting procedure shows first “bootlogo-dm800se” and then “bootlogo.mvi” but no backdrop.mvi and also not boot_wait.mvi! What am I doing wrong?
@Dima73
Thanks, I will try this tomorrow...

I used Dream Logo Generator. Here's the instructions
On a Windows PC, Download DLG from http://mediafire.com/?zb6g4vuxryhgar8
Unpack the .RAR file with Winrar or the .ZIP with Winzip
