No we cannot adapt this as we do not create this mgcamd tool. The developper of it should rebuild it with openssl 1.0.

And you said that the migrate to 4.0 did not change for users.

And it turned out that it will be impossible to install mgcamd !!!
Do I understand correctly?

Possibly an extra softlink from old to new might help you...

softlink can't work, it is a major version change between 1.x.x and 0.9.x. Just keep the recipe for libcrypto-compat, what is the problem with this?

it won't build with latest build environments (I mean like building on most recent linux distributions).

 

mgamd is basically a 3rd party package, so we got it delivered from remote.  I guess someone could easily create a compat package with proper binary libraries and create  updated mgcamd package that depends on that compat package.

if you mean ftp doesn`t work, just set a passwd through telnet.

how to set a passwd

 

with DCC (telnet)
Type; passwd <Enter>
Changing password for root
Enter the new password (minimum of 5, maximum of 8 characters)
Please use a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers.
New password: <type your new passwd> <Enter>
Re-enter new password: <type your new passwd ones more><Enter>
passwd: password changed.

PS; when typing a passwd in the telnet window, you won´t see it appearing in the telnet window-that is normal

Is it just me or everyone is having this problem?

 

I reflashed my solo 2 to OpenPLi 4 and installed all the pugins I use. Everything is perfect.

When I want to update online, it says there are 6 updates. However, when I choose to update, it does not update and

says 0 files were updated. I get this error for about 3 days. According to the website, there are updates everyday.

But, apart from this, everything is working OK.

 

Do you have any solution for this.
