Can anyone please explain what these virtual subservices are?

Thanks.

I will try...

Sky germany added a lot of new HD channels for Sky Sport and Sky Bundesliga (Sport HD 1-11 und Bundesliga HD 1-10). These channels use a lot of space in the favorite list, while they don't even broadcast anything most of the time.

With this plugin I can switch to for example Sky Sport HD1 and press the Green-Button. Now a menu will apear where I can comfortably switch between the subservices:

monty03, the creator of this plugin, uses a xml file therefor and the plugin also checks which channels are even broadcast

OK, thanks.

So it is similar to the English Red Button services, I think. They were used by Sky Sports UK to be able to choose between several tennis matches being played at the same time on different courts. These additional channels are here: 12070 H DVB-S QPSK 27500 2/3.

Maybe the implementation is different though and Red Button cannot be handled this way.

Excellent

Because the plugin mentioned here is working with a separated xml and not reading the subservices from the satellite itself... And it hacks around in InfoBarGenerics...

But for the time being for who wants it I put it on our 3rd party feeds.
