I have a problem using autoinstall (OpenPLi-4.0-beta-dm800se-20131202.nfi). Every time I installed a fresh image, the autoinstall worked, but have tried restoring several times now and does not install my plugins today.

 

This is my autoinstall file (autoinstall0009342a9996)

I have all settings (ip config, channel lists, etc), but the problem when restoring plugins only. Last auto backup: 01/12/2013, 02:00am. Autobackup and autoinstall enabled.

No. When restore, I see all plugins again to download and connection OK with all my channel lists, but plugin list empty (only defaults appear)

make note that autoinstall only works for plugins you previously installed from the feed.

Yes... I installed several times openpli 3.0 and 4.0 and autoinstall works restoring all my plugins listed (above).

Can you telnet to your box and check if the plugins will install by typing

 

init 4

 

/etc/init.d/autoinstall.sh

 

init 3

Using this command line I have:

Then I have enigma2 restarting, but no plugins installed.

I think your /hdd/backup/autoinstall file is empty.

 

Can you check it?

When I do a manual backup, I see only 1 (one) line (autoinstall0009342a9996): enigma2-skin-hdglass16,

 

but I have this plugins installed:

I changed to stick usb to see (maybe the problem is my hdd),but same problem: grabbing only 1 line.

 

I did this before:

If I put all the lines too, don't install. I don't know why.

I'll test again, copy/paste/save all my lines and install a fresh image to see, because if I do a manual backup (autoinstall), I see only 1 line and will report here.

Now, only work if I do a manual command line (I see all the lines there)

Take a look at /etc/installed and find if your plugins are in there.

 

Delete the lines of your manual installed plugins like "enigma2-plugin-extensions-multiquickbutton"  in installed , and create a new backup.

 

Maybe this is the cause.

 

Also look in your backup menu if you checked /etc as backup. ,ifso don't backup complete /etc.

The problem is only with plugins. I have all my settings when restore (channel lists, cccam, user data)

Yes but are your own plugins in the installed file in /etc?

Oke in my case they are and that's not good.

 

So the autobackup plugin needs some investigation.

 

Maybe a dev can take a look??(Mirakels)

I thought it was created once.

 

So when the autoinstall file in backup is not present or the backup is deleted ,the installed file will be created with all plugins in it.

 

I think thats not good and i think the installed file should be created once.

I have used many times autoinstall and noticed this error with this image. The problem appear in the creation of backup and restore, even though the full list. If I delete the folder "/media/hdd/backup", and do a manual backup (new backup) new folder appear with autoinstall, but with only 1 line (hd glass) even though I have all the plugins installed.

 

If I copy/paste all the lines and install fresh image, don't restore my plugins, but if I use init 4, /etc/autoinstall.sh init3, I have all installed again.
