im afraid the only way to make hbbtv work is to install bh/vti or vix  :(

I won't stop you :D

You don't have the 3rd party feeds. They are in the image when you flash it, so someone or something has disabled them.

i had to create "3rd-party-vusolo2-feed.conf" and upload it via ftp but still it doesnt work.

I showed what the contents of the file should be, not instructions on how to fill the files. You should use an editor, or ftp the files to the receiver etc.

well hbbtv causes some crashes and green screen so i uninstalled it lol

 

I will wait for a stable version.

On dutch television it works, only youtube crashes (known problem). Please post the crash logs, you never know. BUT please note, this is a product of vuplus, we can only change certain "little" things.

I will have a look at that later.

 

In the meantime I "fixed" the youtube problem, if you update tomorrow, the youtube player should be working.

It looks like old plugin. 

Error at

self._profile = self._applicationList[0]["profile"]

in getStartHbbTVUrl. This line was replaced by vu+ with 83bd87859ccc47a5511089ac69fa015cc9e29eaa commit.

If you update today you should have version experimental-git8465+59df7d4-r11, yesterday's version is git8465+59df7d4-r10. If you have any other version, remove it and install it from the version.

 

The version we ship is from end of december 2013, the newer versions give GSOD's on OpenPLi.

hbbtv works with ZDF HD

if you try with France 24 which is a hbbtv channel too it crashes --> GSOD

I have been watching two full episodes of "Drop The Dead Donkey" from YouTube TV on my vusolo2 yesterday. I am afraid you're running into the limitations of the vuduo.
