Hi All,

Dear support I very hope on your help.

I read many descriptions of this problem but didn't find solution.

DM800Se connected to LG TV via HDMI-CEC, all functions HDMI-CEC work perfectly, except one:

receiver doesn't go to Standby mode with LG TV.

Example 1:

1. TV in standby mode, DM in standby mode too.

2. TV wakeup, DM wakeup too.

After some seconds I press Power Off on TV remote control:

3. TV go standby, DM go standby too.

Example 2:

1. TV in standby mode, DM in standby mode too.

2. TV wakeup, DM wakeup too.

I watch TV, list channels, 5 minutes and more, then press Power Off on TV remote control:

3. TV go standby, DM doesn't do anything, stay power on.

4. I press Power On on TV remote control, TV wakeup, DM go standby and then wakeup.

See logs from Dreambox in attach.

This problem have solution?
I don't think that the TV sends 0x36 commands after Power On.

Thanks for your help!

With my vu duo and open pli 4 and this plugin I get different behaviour depending on the sequence of the first startup! Things works well when I switch on (with power switch) the TV, then switch on (with the power switch) the vu duo.
Looks like there is some kind of initialistion at first switch on.
Then I use the standby only on TV or VuDuo and everything works fine.

it seems as TV do not sending well 0x36 (standby) and send it on it's next wake up ?

On some LG was problem with HDMI, as I read some time ago.

When TV goes to standby, it must send 0x36 (standby) always.

In /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/HdmiCec.py I have added function:

        elif message == "lgvendorid":
            cmd = 0x8c

and then:

            elif cmd == 0x8c: # request vendor id
                self.sendMessage(message.getAddress(), 'vendorid')

                self.sendMessage(message.getAddress(), 'lgvendorid')

Now, if the TV asks "0x8c" from Dreambox, the Dreambox asks from TV "0x8c" too.

I thought it will resolve problem, but the situation didn't change :(
But the DM and TV have more cheerful talking now  :)

vendor info is relevant for nothing...

As i wrote, it seems, that TV does not send 0x36 when it is goes t ostanby. And on next wake-up it send 0x36 => box to standby and then is box waked by starting TV again.

See here: http://libcec.pulse-.../vendor/support (there is a special note for LG)

Simplink is (messy) LG implementation of HDMI-CEC. If you like to spend some time, check remote control passthrough (forward keys), last time i check they didn't work for my LG TV.

Good luck.

Thanks for your help.

All other functions from LG remote control for Dreambox work perfectly.

But unclear, it is LG TV doesn't send commands after StandBy or Dreambox (OE) drivers don't accept these x36 commands.

Probably, it is necessary to wait new programs from Pli and new firmware from LG.

I will experiment....

Small specification.

Possible many and long list channels from the DM remote control, then press Power key on TV remote control - TV go to standby, and DM standby too.

If for control use TV remote control for list channels, left, right, up, down Ok or exit butons, LG TV won't send a command x36 to receiver.

eHdmiCEC: received message 1A 03
eHdmiCEC: received message 44 00
action ->  InfobarChannelSelection openServiceList
eHdmiCEC: received message 45
eHdmiCEC: received message 1A 03
eHdmiCEC: received message 44 0D
action ->  OkCancelActions cancel
eHdmiCEC: received message 45

It is enough for extinction of normal work.

I hope OpenPli programmers in future will find solution.

Problem is solved by GL programmers in new TV-firmware.

I wrote letter to LG support few months ago and after update x36 function via HDMI-CEC works perfectly. :D

Please help, i have this problem:
I want to control DM800se with Magic Remote form LG TV.
DM800Se connected to LG TV via HDMI-CEC, all functions HDMI-CEC work perfectly, except one:
