Hi All,

Here is my new skin: PIMP my PLiHD

This skin was mainly inspired by the MyMetrix skin (for colors and configuration plugin, credits go to original author iMaxxx).

With this skin you can customize:

- Main color (20 choices of color, taken from MyMetrix, again thank you even if some colors are ugly :lol: )

- Selection bar color: Black or Main Color.

- Picon size (normal or SHD)

- Weather configuration (also taken from MyMetrix).

- Font selection : 8 fonts available including on Custom font that can be used to test your own font.

               To do so, rename your font as Custom.ttf and overwrite the Custom.ttf font in /usr/share/enigma2/PIMP-my-PLiHD-by-talbs/fonts/ folder.

Also:
- This is my first plugin in python (even if i didn't had to do it from scratch) so if you have any comment on how to optimze it you're welcome.
- Better configure SNR in % and not dB in the infobar when using bold fonts. (otherwise if a HD channel is played, the screen size will cover up the SNR in dB).
- This skin is about 3Mb (mainly due to fonts).
- Thank you for your feedback.

Best regards and some snaphots:

Looks cool!

If (you think) it's finished and stable, and you can put it in a public repository, we can include it in our build process, and add it to the feeds.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback.

My opinion is that it is stable but maybe not finished (user's feedback will tell us).

Also, maybe some fonts can be removed to reduce the package size ( # 3MB is quite big no???)

Concerning, the public repository, etc ... i have no backgroun about that, i need to ask google (or if someone can help me by PM  ;) ).

(damn, the nick talbs is already taken on github  :angry: )

BR

Maybe you can ping Littlesat when you're done, he might be able to assist you.

This is a very good idea. Do you think, that it would also be possible to adjust look and position of the timeline in the movie player?

Everything can be done,

The movie player has been placed at the top of the screen maybe to not cover up subtitles??? It's a guess.

You can play with the .xml to adjust the position.

The position of an element is set as following position(x,y).

Then increasing y, will scroll down that element.

Increasing x will shift right that element.

In my skin, you need to play with following file to adjust the position:

skin.xml --> line 190 to 205

skin_templates_talbs_mod.xml --> line 6 to 31.

@WanWizard

I tried github and get my first issue:

my skin contains a folder named parts and this folder refuses to be synced on gihub using github on windows application.

it seems that this folder name is forbidden.

So need to change the folder name.

Talbs, could you adapt this skin to the new number-zap in pli? Currently there is no number on the screen, nor station name.
