nice skin
try to install but with no result. installation goes ok, when I go to menu skin there is no new skin
pls help

You have to install using telnet.

Copy the file to /tmp

And install it through DCC telnet then choose the skin and restart Enigma..

yes mate, I ftp copy to /tmp, then install from menu and when I go to menu-skin new skin is not showing

Dont install it from menu. Use dcc telnet command is in post #1

You can install the skin from plugin downloads menu or linuxsat support plugin under open pli skins.

After the latest Pli updates the epg no longer shows the detail for the next events, this is on a DM800SE HD. It actually shows the current program in the details box!!!

Hello, I am new to the forum and then I do not know if my question is right or not. I installed version 4.0 and open pli skin sky new 2.5 and all ok since I updated with the firmware update automatically and the receiver will not start. There are some changes to make about ?? thank you

Skin will not install on DM800 se clone running openpli-4.0-beta-dm800se-20131024-sim2-ssl84d_ac3. Anyone know how to make it happen?

Hi Chababu, thanx for you great job , we appreciate what you do, i use to have the last sky skin V.2.3, and i was try the latest one , but something goes  wrong , i delete the old folder ,ftp /usr /share/enigma2/, reboot the box , then install the v2.5 , i put ipk on temp the telnet it , install successful, but when i go to choose the skin ,there  isn't on the skin  folder the skin i install , is anything we can do , cause at moment come back to v.2.3, ,anyway is anything we ca do , please let me know

Hi Chababu, thanx a lot mate for your support ,i manage to make it work after so trying,cause when i telnet it the cannot extract , what i don i install the ipk file , the telnet with command but not successful, then i extract the ipk file with 7-zip the get the sky new 2.5 folder and send it to usr/share /E2 then restart E2, now is working,

I am trying to install this on a vu+ Solo se usig SSH but it dosnt seem to work.

 

when I do:

 

cd /tmp

opkg install enigma2-skin-SKY.NEW-Chababu_V2.5_all.ipk

 

I get the below but nothing apears in the skin settings after a reboot.

 

 

Can any one help?

 

I've installed this before on a zero and I didnt really have any initial problems like this.

I seem to have development an issue on my vu zero with the programme guide, All have been awesome until a week or so ago when the "next" seems to have stopped showing and shows the current program, see image below:

Can you help, or has anyone else any ideas of what the issue is?

Also, I posted a reply above as I seem to have some install issues on my friends vu solo se if anyone could give me hand on that?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try extract the ipk file and manually ftp all the relevant file and folders to their correct location of your receiver. Make sure you include the skymedium.tff font file as well as all the renderers and converters...

That seems to be an issue when you have updated your receiver. You have to copy all the renderers and converters and ftp them to your receiver and overwrite the ones that are there. Then restart your receiver and it should be sorted.
