If you run a software update, everything in your box is updated. Select an offline update and have the box reboot after it's finished.

 

If the webinterface is installed, it must be listed under menu, plugins (it's called OpenWebif). If it isn't, install it, if it is, press "Ok" on it and it's setup opens. Check if it's enabled (first item should be "yes") and if the HTTP port is set to 00080.

SO If I update my box like that it not gona delete my Bouquet Favourite channel list? Will I still be on same sever 192.168.0.6 or I have to flash it again? It don't show openwebif plugin , that is reason, it used to have openwebif pluginn but gone since I updated to openpli4

2 options; flash the box or use telnet and give this command;

opkg update

opkg install python-compression

restart box

It is already running OpenPLi 4, so an update via the menu should do it.

Thanks guys , probably this why I can't connect the box to web interface because there is no Openwebif pluginn, How can I get this backthis plugin? When I go into plugin menu I only see media player plugin, I think there is other three different comes in menu,As I am work now I will try after work, in which pluginn can u download Openwebif thing with out losing any channels list and server settings , if I can get this Openwebif it should be great

try menu-settings-software update.

And after that go into menu, plugins, and press the green button. If will give you a treeview of all plugins you can download and install. I think the OpenWebIf is under "extensions".

It really drove me mad for last week could not sort it out then i joined this openpli forums and got good help from you

What is good android app for streaming on phone? I am using currently android dreamer it connects to box I can see Bouquet and when I press any channel for streaming it load up but never stream and goes off

Thanks can we connect dreambox to 3g so we can stream on mobile or pc when we away or not connected to same network?
