Good morning,

 

I have a problem and i need some help, the first time i turn on my device enigma 2, i couldn't search a satellite, a software problem came up, with this discription

 

logfile/tmp/enigma2_crash.log

 

Can i get some help? thanks

which box?

I guess with this sort of information noone will bother trying to help.

You did not even mention what box you have.


ET9000, OpenPLi 4.0, 13E, 19E

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

Sorry, the Box is an Octagon HD Digital Satellite STB - XP1000+ (DVB-S2 Single Tuner HD STB)

How can i attach the logfile (Box is an Octagon HD Digital Satellite STB - XP1000+)?

 

in this moment i can't select a manual or automatic search for a satellite, i need to connect to the hispasat.

If the box presents this error with its initial startup, there are severe problems with the software. Remember that the XP1000+ differs from the original XP1000. First be sure to use the correct firmware file when flashing! OpenPli 4.0 runs on the standard XP1000 from MaxDigital and the Octagon SF8-HD which is similar..

 

My guess is to install the official firmware (unless it is still there) and try again. If the error(s) persist I would return the box to the shop and have it replaced.

 

If you don't think the box is faulty, submit a log-file here so we can see where it goes wrong..

Thank you for the tips "mimisiku", the box is not faulty, the error/ log-file is logfile/tmp/enigma2_crash.log

This is new to me "littlesat", how can i see the crashlog file? show me an example...

 

Is normal not see the firmware version?

On the root of the harddisk or in /tmp....
