I've already had two different reports of DM8000's becoming unstable and crashing with MQB installed. Removing it, and changing the mappings to Hotkey, solved the problem in both cases.

Maybe for DMM boxes this is the case, but running MQB on a VU+ UNO is smooth-less (the original keymap.xml is not replaced by the plugin....)

Are you sure... as far I can see this is the first thing MQB is doing... making slight changes to the keymap.

 

If I assign action to any of the <<, >, ||, >> or STOP buttons they should be triggered only in the live TV mode.

They should not steal the functionality of this buttons while in PLAYBACK (Timeshift or MoviePLayer)

Can be changed...

As to the keymap.xml replacing: I`m using a modified MQB version intended for VU boxes, the keymap is not replaced there.

 

"Can be changed" sounds great and promising Fingers crossed.

Ah, so you're NOT using MQB from the feeds. You're using something else.

thanks! I suggest this also solves issues mentioning earlier, which I did not understand yet. No it makes more sense to define these buttons I suppose....

 

I'm 100% sure the orriginal MQB make changes to the keymap.xml... But when you use a special edition?????

Sorry guys for misleading you with MQB. First of all, I forgot I`m using a *-vu version and not the one from the feed. Seconda of all, I`m not a die-hard MQB fan - I just wanted to point out that HotKey is still missing something. The latter one worked hopefully

Could be there in hotkey made, that button asigned as "showMovies" can works in "InfobarActions" (as showMovies) too (used in MovieSelection) ? When hotkey is used as PVR, then would be nice, that 2nd press will works as original PVR button too = select path for movies via bookmarks (it calls bookmark's list).

 

I must adding line into keymap.xml (with "b") for used hotkey buttons now and it is not standard.

I need, that "Show movies" (showMovies) atached for some Hotkey will work for this Hotkey in "InfobarActions" too = in MovieList will call list with bookmarks with moviepath (as it making standardly KEY_VIDEO).

"InfobarAction" is used in MovieSelection and in InfoBar (fortunately, showMovies is not used in InfoBar => will not be conflicts)

I think "next" & "previous" should be added the same way (as they function as "skip_back", "skip_forward").

@littlesat - I saw, you added function display Channel list or Movielist (equivalent CH+/-). It is not, what I thought.

 

I need, that button works similar as KEY_VIDEO =>  1x press = Show movies , 2nd press = display bookmarks in movielist. It is "showMovies" too, but there in MovieSelection under "InfobarAction"   /"showMovies": (self.doPathSelect, _("Select the movie path"))/

 

=> some as "Show movies + Movie Path"  ... if this is possible do.

Did I forgot to say thanks ? Was to busy with uninstalling MQB and binding the buttons assignments in HotKey

@greatred - thanky a lot for your patience with complainig about the play-problem!

I was about to throw PLI from my Vu Ultimo.... no sensful way to manage the in- and out to the movieplayer.... MQB didn't work... and no alternative (EnhancedMoviePlayer) on the feed....

Hmmm... i updated the PLI now via "software update". If i reassign the PLAY-button it always is reassigned. Even wenn i view a movie.

Is this change in the nightly build or do i have to wait?
