In movielist, if you will to preview the selected movie you can do it only with 'Playpause' button.

My question: can the 'Preview' function be added to 'Hotkey', so the user can assign an alternative key for this (insteed of 'Playpause')?

A bit non possible as hotkey basically only effects infobar buttons and then you're in the movielist....

So the request translates into: can 'preview movie' be added to the user assignable keys in the movielist context menu?.
And the answer is: it's there already :)

Hello there! I have a small question if you please (running OpenPli 4.0 on VU Solo SE)

If I'm not mistaken, in order to unbind the function from the key I have to check the same function that's already binded to that key. That's working good.

But I assigned "switch to channel ..." to the hotkey. Now when I'm trying to remove "switch to channel ..." function, it just adds another same string, like:

- switch to channel CNN

- switch to channel CNN

...

.. instead of clearing it :)

The question is how to unbind this and is it possible to edit some *.xml or anything directly, where the hotkey settings are.

Thanks so much!

Hello, I would like to assign this screen to some of my RC buttons

BtJN8ZH.jpg

Is there any way to do that. That's the menu buried deep into 4th or 5th level.

Menu--->Information-->Service---->Pids

Basically, I need these service PIDs (Vpid, Apid, PMT, SID...etc) in hex format.

Also I would be great if someone can make script .sh so I can upload it to box and assign remote button to that shellscript which would display needed PIDs.

I found this telnet command

wget -q -O - http://127.0.0.1/web/about

and ran it as .sh script but it shows these PIDs (among the other data) but unfortunately, it's in DEC format which is not suitable for me.

Can anyone help?

And with our standard detailed (not simple) 2nd infobar on the left top.... .?
Actually this screen can be added as hotkey function... There are already examples how to open a screen within a "module"...

I'm afraid these PIDs are not shown on your 2nd infobar, only as service reference but it's really hard to manage there and there is no PMT pid I think....

I already tried tweaking "keymap.xml" and added

<map context="GlobalActions">
		<key id="KEY_GREEN" mapto="ServiceInfo" flags="b"/>

but it didn't help.

If you can bind screen that I posted, to green button, please explain how to do that?

Actually I think it would be easier to do this with running .sh script .

Kind regards!

In oir standard skins everything is there... Running an sh script by calling via webif is not smart... When you can directly get the values from python

looks like service info screen is already included in hotkey

hotkeyFunctions.append((_("Channel Info"), "Module/Screens.ServiceInfo/ServiceInfo", "Setup"))

so you can assign any key to it easily

however, you probably need to update your image first, serviceinfo screen been redesigned like couple of months ago, now it looks like on attached screenshot

Thanks for helping.

I alredy assigned it as you said, but default screen is not one with PID values, then this one with  general data:

CTJ1Pd3.jpg?1

 and I have to press green button to get desired data PIDs:

hJmZGwl.jpg

So basically it's still two "buttons" away from the screen I want, that's why I think about making .sh script to get that data. I hope you can make that command or script, Iknow it's possible, it would resolve this.

Btw 2nd infobar definitely don't have all these PIDs.

Thanks!

Then someone needs to add a new screen here that arange that that screen class will be the default.... and add also this new screen class to hotkey...

there on 2nd infobar is service reference.

I believe it goes like this

1:0:DVB_TYPE:SID:TSID:ONID:NS(namespace):0:0:0

and there's no PMT pid, TXT pid..etc

Anyway, can I just replace my 'ServiceInfo.pyo' with newone?

It would be real pain to flush new image and then to change all default settings to current ones....

...and answer is YES!

It's enough to replace 'ServiceInfo.pyo' from /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/ to get screen as you described above!
