Are you sure it's in the right (sub-)directory? Did you compare it with other e2openplugins? I may have a shot at it in a few days.

Yes, here is the git: https://github.com/E...PGImportFilter/

Compare with any other plugin, for example: https://github.com/E...lugin-OpenWebif

I don't feel comfortable with that because I'd like to stick to officially released stuff.

I will have a look, but I must say, this is not quite my area of expertise, so if anyone has an idea why it doesn't work as expected, please yell.

Yeah, I can't compile mode myself either so would need an expert here.

just tested, setup.py is ok, plugin compiles ok...

two issues:
- bb recipe as provided in #17 is not correct, should be something like this:

MODULE = "EPGImportFilter"
DESCRIPTION = "EPGImport Filter"

RDEPENDS_${PN} = "\
	python-difflib \
	python-shell \
	"
require openplugins-distutils.inc

require assume-gplv2.inc

- still remained one

import localdifflib

in ui.py (where importing difflib is not needed /?/ btw...)

I corrected ui.py and uploaded on the git.

Thanks for the effort!

blzr, I still get this error during building:

ERROR: Function failed: do_compile (log file is located at /nfs/src/openpli/build/tmp/work/mips32el-oe-linux/enigma2-plugin-extensions-epgimportfilter/1.0-r0/temp/log.do_compile.1477)

ERROR: Task 4013 (/nfs/src/openpli/meta-openpli/recipes-openpli/e2openplugins/enigma2-plugin-extensions-epgimportfilter.bb, do_compile) failed with exit code '1'

I tried building with the e2openplugins submodule de-inited and replaced it with a symlink to my own copy of e2openplugins, which seems to work quite well, actually.

I added epgimportfilter to the packagegroup:

--- a/packagegroup-openplugins.bb
+++ b/packagegroup-openplugins.bb
@@ -34,6 +34,7 @@ DEPENDS = " \
    enigma2-plugin-extensions-systemtools \
    enigma2-plugin-extensions-cacheflush \
    enigma2-plugin-extensions-analogclock \

 "

 require assume-gplv2.inc

and I added the recipe:

MODULE = "EPGImportFilter"
DESCRIPTION = "EPGImport Filter"

RDEPENDS_${PN} = "\
	python-difflib \
	python-shell \
	"
require openplugins-distutils.inc

require assume-gplv2.inc

Any clue?

no idea...

IIRC I just -ccleansstate'd the build of the plugin, inited && updated submodule,

and it builds just fine, with just the recipe added locally and packagegroup adjusted...

Hmmm, it's a bit dangerous to make changes in a submodule, it's always in a volatile state and can be "reset" at any time. That's why I deinited the submodule and replaced it with a symlink to a cloned directory.

Two questions, does this yield an installable, working plugin and can you try it my way too?
