Well then I ll call it quits .... flashing (even with backup autoinstall is just not an option anymore.. re-installing all the plugins , re-configuring etc...too much hassle...

I ll run the last working backup and when really something new comes out that requires the new kernel I ll reflash .. but doubtfull.

Good luck with your image, all the best .. been (and still is) an anazing image.

Regards

Hi - and sorry!

Actually my card was in a CI - module!!

I've now moved it to one of the internal readers and all is working OK with cccam 2.3.0

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for all help.

Kenneth

Hi can anyone help me?

I cannot watch/record more than one channel at a time on 27.5W. I have tried don't descramble and scrammble and normal on the recording format, I had to make a lot of changes in lots of files incl Lamedb to get the box to clear 27.5W, which it does great but cannot record more than one channel.

You should be greatful that you can even watch these channels.

You cannot watch and record a different channel there if you are using the LONG mode of doublet's script. I don't know about the SHORT mode, though.

What makes you think I am not grateful? In-fact I am extremely grateful!!!

Well I am set to Demux 0, so I think that's the short mode. I took me about 6 months to finally get this sat to clear especially with doublet's and others help, it was a very frustrating time. ;-)

Demux 0 does not mean short mode.

If your box is other than a Dreambox then you are using LONG mode and you can't record a different channel than the one you are watching.

Aha just checked in my starter.sh  it states quite clearly short mode, this was from him as he made changes to short mode as long mode didn't work or something like that anyway, maybe because I am using Vu+ Duo2 which he did say was different to a solo.

So should it be the case then that I am running in short mode do I have a chance of recording+1 channel etc?

i have a same problem on vu solo2.

i m sure the problem came from the update of image of openpli with the cccam 3.0.

i tried cccam 2.2.1 it works perfectly on open pli of 2014 but not on latest openpli

Hi, i have same problem. I record one channel and i can't watch a other channel but i can watch free to air channel. It seems like cccam is the problem or firmware.
I have vu solo2 with cccam 221.

cccam 221 can't decode multiple channels, you need 230 for that (which is the default cccam in the feeds).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Then why use 221?
