The website looks at the upload server for information. So it sees new files as soon as the buildserver is finished and has pushed the image file and the feeds to the upload server.
Our download mirrors are maintained by third parties, and we can not directly control when and how they sync with our upload server. This is done via rsync, and with 35+Gb of files you don't want to do that too often (rsync is hugely memory bound, it would completely paralyze their webserver, so no downloads).
Usually within an hour all of them are in sync.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

You need to reboot after the update, did you do that?
After you have done that, can you login and do this: cat /proc/filesystems and post the output?

Allright time for UNO report:
like I said I tried online update first - it did not went flawlessly, had to run opkg update&& opkg upgrade several times until md5sum mismatch errors disappeared (opkg install <URL of failing package> as last resort).
After upgrade finished the box has been rebooted.
cat /proc/filesystems:
nodev sysfs nodev rootfs nodev bdev nodev proc nodev tmpfs nodev devtmpfs nodev sockfs nodev pipefs nodev anon_inodefs nodev rpc_pipefs nodev devpts ext3 ext2 ext4 nodev ramfs vfat nodev nfs nodev nfs4 nodev cifs nodev autofs fuseblk nodev fuse nodev fusectl nodev mtd_inodefs nodev ubifs
kernel-module-ext4 was still installed so I removed it and rebooted again. ext4 partitions have been mounted.
Great job Erik and anyone who worked on this very-last-day-of-the-year-working-image
To sum things up: the image for VU+ Uno is working fine.
Keep in mind that flashing it would be much wiser choice than doing an online updated. If you although insist to update it, I would recommend to do it via console and prepare to overcome some issues.
Have a great 2015 !!!

These models have been tested with the image generated today (after 13:00) and found to be good for upgrade (no flash necessary):
- uno
- zero
- solose
- duo
- ultimo
- duo2
I think the other two (solo, solo2) will be ok as well.
These images will have the ext4 and the cifs issues resolved.
Note: the issue with the vuplus-poweroff package remains. This package may be electable for upgrade sometimes (although no real changes occur in this package). As a result of the upgrade (the package removal stage, actually), the receiver is shutdown and powered off, even during the upgrade. There is a workaround for this problem: log in to the receiver and type this:
chmod 000 /usr/bin/turnoff_power
After that, the update can be safely carried out. It is is no longer necessary to completely flash the image, as per notice with the image.
If this procedure appears to be too much hassle, you can still perform a complete image flash.

I can confirm that update works fine on DUO2. Do not forget to execute command that Erik wrote, otherwise receiver will turn off during upgrade.

I can confirm the online update is ok for the Solo
It took 3 updates though, the first had 336 updates, the second 256 and the third 37. Upon running it a fourth time it finally displayed no updates available.
In the about menu I can see that enigma is from the 31st and the drivers also from the 31st and the kernel is the latest version
So all seems fine.
Ian.
