There is openatv image blind scan. Openpli blind scan no reason
open plugin-->use "Hardware type"-->etc...
What, you mean the user has to tell the plugin what hardware the plugin is being run on?

The tuners are "Si2166D", which means "have_Support_Blindscan" is set to True in line 1800, so it should just work.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Why does the user need to decide? What hardware has both built-in blindscan support and a binary utility?

I don't think the Zgemma H9 series had a usable DVB-S/S2 blindscan with internal tuners. There was an effort at one time to provide a DVB-S/S2 blindscan for this model, but it never amounted to much and was not considered usable for those who tested it in North America. So even if you do get it to work, you probably won't be happy with it.

I don't know maybe sf8008.
sf8008 uses a binary utility.
