my image is open pli 4 not BH 

 

 

all this image try to send in  openmultiboo the same error.

Hi!

I understand that the OpenPLI team does not officially support DMM but still i installed it on my Dream 525HD.

I wanted to run Open multiboot and i followed instructions.

I gor stuck with trying to install Open ATV image

the error i get is:

generic error in unpacking process.

Does anyone knows why it happens?

Posting the same question twice is frowned upon, and doesn't give you an answer any quicker.

 

Besides that, this is the OpenPLi forum, and only questions about OpenPLi images are answered here. Since you are using an illegal image build by someone else, I suggest you take your questions there.

Hi Everyone, I had installed OpenMultiboot from the feed with image “OpenPLi-4.0-beta-et10000-20161227_usb” to my Et10k. After installing other images to my 8Gb Flashdrive (OpenPli in flash), set one of the other images to load in the next boot, then set to reboot. While it was rebooting, a display appear showing “OpenPLi4 (flash)” and could not see any name of other images which I had installed earlier, it just continue to boot to flash’s image. Tried booting with all other images in flashdrive, but it just wouldn’t boot it, only bootup to flash image which is OpenPLi. In blue button, everything had been set to enable but it still didn’t work. Wonder why?

For me it also happens the same thing with et10k and openpli in flash.
OMB enabled, tryed OpenATV 5.3 and 6.0 in usb, set image in plugin but during boot only "openpli 4.0 (flash)" appears in OMB menu like it was the only image installed

Hi Mocho, same situation with me. Wonder what was wrong? Seem no one could solve this problem. Very very sad!

 

Could someone tell us was it a hardware or software problem please?

I have been trying various permutations of images, OpenPLi 4 & 5, OpenATV 5.3 & 6.0 & ViX on my et8000.

 

In all cases I wont work with OpenPLi in flash. It locks at the Xtrend boot screen and needs a reflash.

 

It is working fine with OpenATV in flash.

 

OpenPLi is on kernel 4.0.1 & OpenATV & ViX are on kernel 4.8.3

Today I have tried to build new plugin and then test it. But same error I got before I have tried to install OpenATV6.0 and Merlin3 but I got this message (Cannot extract nfi image)

P.s: Internal image is my image based on next-master core (openpli5)
