I noticed that searching for tv series subtitles with the complete series name, most of the time as result returned something irrelevant with the title or no results.

Please give example. Because "10 tv series episodes from solarmovies addon" not too close. If you tests it is not problem for you to give one example?

Also when i had the crash in the previous version, my stb's Gui restarted but external gstplayer didn't stop,it continued played the episode i had selected from the plugin,i had to reboot my ET9000.

This is a know problem of the E2. External movie player is run as separate process, when process E2 crash it not finish  their child's process.
But there should not be GS and no problem at all.

SSS

I think you are not understand how to search subtitles for episodes.

So, I will show you how to:

name.png

tv_show_name.png

select_tv_series.png

select_episode.png

I wrote about this to search for whole TV show not direct for episode, as this is known problem with opensubtitles.org.

But you probably have not read?

Good evening my friends
how are you doing,
i'm so satisfied with the new subtitle method(downloading the specific episode)
however there is a little problem,
because when i try to download the subtitle file it reports this message

(whether it was a movie, or TV show and using three different languages"Arabic"french"English")
so what should i do?

Hello @zeetro

It seems that IPTV Player cannot write converted subtitles file into Cache folder.

Maybe you do not have free space or the Cache folder does not exists.
The location of the IPTV Cache folder can be changed, so please check in plugin configuration how it is set.

Please not that in this folder also other files are stored other IPTVPlayer cache files, like materials icons, search history, cookies files .etc.

Especially icons files can take a lot of memory, so the beter is to set IPTV Cache folder to external memory for example pendrive or hard disk, rather than to internal FLASH memory.

SSS

Do you interested such option?

and here is a few sites, maybe it should help to choose one of them

Hello @zeetro,

It is very hard to me to add the page in language which I do not understand.

To add web page I must understand its structure.

It is very hard to me.

But, I sure that you can find person in your country which know python and can add support of such webpages to the IPTVPlayer.

IPTVPlayer is open source and any one can prepar changes for it.

Of corse when I find some time I can try to understand for example http://cima4u.tv/ and try to addbut I'm afraid it will be a very difficult task for me.

Hello,

In version "90.00.04.00":
- new version 10 of exteplaer3 for MIPSEL has been deployed; handle of the AAC codec has been improved (on some materials with AAC codec there was a problem with no audio it should be fixed now)

Please test new version of exteplayer3 on MIPSEL.
The work on exteplayer3 porting for MIPSEL goes very slowly. Unfortunately I do not have too much time.
So, I you want to help please tests and when the problem occurs please check in gstplayer to confirm if it is realeted with exteplayer or maybe with drivers and report here with link to the material which has a problem.

I will be very grateful.

At now exteplayer3 supports the following codecs:
AUDIO:
- AAC
- AC3
- MP3

VIDEO:
- H264

Regards,
SSS

Hi, samsamsam.

If anyone would like to help you, or somewhere is available a public repository for exteplayer3?

Thank you for your good work and continued support! :)

So, with the new ExtPlayer3 MPEG and MPEG2 are no longer supported?

One more thing to report trying to update in version 89.02.04.00 to 90.00.04.02... (see attached screenshot)

Keep up the good work! ;)

EDIT: Later it did work, thankfully... :) So, forget the screenshot!
