You choose exteplayer3 as active player but you do not have this player.

You can set active player under blue button ("More" -> "Change active player").

 

And also to be able to choose exteplayer3 you must force this in main cofiguration.

 

So, question is: if you do not know what you do please do not do this.

To use exteplayer3 you need to have installed ffmpeg libs and then IPTVPlayer will ask you to install exteplayer3 (after E2 reboot).

Hello, executing the following command installs version 132.

wget http://iptvplayer.pl/iptvinstaller.sh -O - | /bin/sh

 

Version 132 has a uchardet nag error. Is it possible to update the version that is being hosted to a more recent version please?

If you want port of KODI plugin please ask tsmedia or kodidirect developers.

I have some problems with installing the IPTV player for my HD51 Mutant.

 

I tried this :

 

wget http://iptvplayer.pl/iptvinstaller.sh -O - | /bin/sh

 

But the IPTV-player was not listed in applications.

 

So I started the other procudure at https://wiki.openpli.org/iptvplayer

 

When using telnet command :

ffmpeg --version

I get a message like -sh: ffmpeg: not found

So I thought I have to install this, (I have no idea what I am doing, I don't know if it is needed)

 

So I decide to install this :

 

FFMPEG libs for ARMV7 (VU Solo4K)

cd /tmp
wget http://iptvplayer.pl/resources/ffmpeg3.0.1_armv7_fpu_openssl1.0.2.tar.gz
tar -xzf ffmpeg3.0.1_armv7_fpu_openssl1.0.2.tar.gz -C /
rm ffmpeg3.0.1_armv7_fpu_openssl1.0.2.tar.gz
sync
reboot

After that I got the message:

 

root@hd51:~# ffmpeg --version
ffmpeg: /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0: version `OPENSSL_1.0.2d' not found (required by /usr/lib/libavformat.so.57)
ffmpeg: /lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: version `OPENSSL_1.0.2d' not found (required by /usr/lib/libavformat.so.57)

 

I don't know if this is ok now?

 

I decided to follow the other steps, IPTV player is now running.

But is now everything correctly? Is that "thing" ffmpeg Ok?

At some movies I have no sound or video, and subtitles are not working when pressing the blue button.

Can you give me some information?

 

At my other box Xsarius Pure HD, I used the first command.

And everything is working fine. Only when I would like to watch a serie, I picked PrisonBreak  I have no video, only sound

I get the message video/x-gst-fourcce-hev1 decoder.

No. This is not OK.

You install ffmpeg libs for not valid OpenSSL version. 

 

At the beginning you should check what this command report:

wget http://iptvplayer.pl/iptvinstaller.sh -O - | /bin/sh

 

prior to taking any other steps.

 

After this command you get message:

PLEASE RESTART YOUR STB

 

The installation is really easy, but you need to read.

 

 

About your second

What host? What hosting? What path to serives? What episode?

Subtitles work ony with external movie player.

 

About ffmpeg you need valid for your image ffmpeg libs.

I have selected nothing, should I do this in the settings?

At my xsarius pure HD was everything working directly, I only set my username en password for the opensubtitles.

If you not select anythink what player is used? 

Does IPTVPlayer ask you to install gstplayer?

I will check in the evening when I am at home.

I remember the IPTVplayer did ask for gtstplayer, but I am not sure if this was at the Xsarius or Mutant or Both.

Where can I check which player is used?

Generally you can recognize it by skin. 

But also you can set active player per host under blue button -> Set/Change active player

 

or 

 

you can change default player globally in the IPTVPlayer configuration:

First movie player without buffering

Second movie player without buffering

First movie player with buffering

Second movie player with buffering
