@amigo

Did you install this way:

wget http://iptvplayer.pl/iptvinstaller.sh -O - | /bin/sh

If yes. What output do you get? Did you check that this command not failed?

@amigo

This is all what install script return? I do not think so...

@fairbird

Did you look inside install script?

There is already:

opkg update && opkg install python-html
opkg install python-json

So ths is strange.

@amigo  next time when you execute some commands please copy whole outputs not only last two lines.

Regards,

SSS

Where exactly in the plugin settings can be set the web proxy for bbc player ?

Are the IPTV player settings stored in some xml file ? (if yes, I would prefer to edit the configuration directly)

Hi, thanks for the great work so far, I've just got a quick question about auto frame rate switching.

My STB is a Golden Interstar LX3 with the latest OpenVIX 5.0.004 installed with GStreamer 1.11.2 and the latest version of IPTV Player tonight - 147.00.20.00

The box is configured in 1080i and multi frame rate so when watching any satellite channels or IPTV bouquets it will switch between 50 and 60hz accordingly.

I've noticed that when viewing anything via IPTV Player when using either the default config with gstplayer or with exteplayer3 it will not cause a video mode change to match the frame rate.

I can't see any settings in IPTV Player around this - is it not supported?

The frame rate mismatch causes dropped frames and stuttering which isn't there when the frame rate matches.

Here's a snippet from the debug log when a 30fps video was played below (looking at the log it was 29.970fps) and the box stayed in 1080i50 instead of switching to 1080i60

Thanks in advance!

@aido

After start playback you can change resolution by pressing

Menu - > Video option -> Video mode. IPTVPlayer  will remember your selection for movie.

At no point is there an automatic switch - this is because the frame rate is not always properly detected.

The same happen with system movie player.

At now there is no auto switch -

Are the IPTV player settings stored in some xml file ? (if yes, I would prefer to edit the configuration directly)

At now there was only support for web proxy gateway: "https://www.englandproxy.co.uk/".

If you interested with proxy server then I can add such option, but you must have first good proxy server because in this host there is need to all data (also audio/video) to go throw proxy.

So, do you have good proxy server which give you English IP?

About setting file - IPTVPlayer store settings with default E2 setting file: /etc/enigma2/settings

Thanks @samsamsam - apologies I'd never thought to try menu as assumed it would have taken me to the system menu.

Works great thanks :)

CartoonHD works without problem.

If something not works to you it not mean that it does not work at all.

You have local problem, but I am not interested with support you because of bad your behavior before.

Already I wrote, that you are not welcome in my topic.

I say cartoonHD does not work for many people that use this plugin. No personal support needed because of author bad manner.
