I have reinstalled the official version of OpenPli with old plugins:

- OpenPLi-4.0-beta-et10000-20150814_usb.zip

- gst-plugins-bad-mpegtsdemux_0.10.23.1+git12245+fb0d870-r5_mips32el

- gst-plugins-ugly-mpegstream_0.10.19.1+git4638+9afc696-r3_mips32el

 

So, Gstreamer 0,10 to test and:

 

IPTV ok for the video (fast and all ok)

Sound not good at all on many channels.

 

If you want to compares what's happen, I can make a log here.

(To see the different with gst 1,0)

Yeah I have a feeling some images might not be fully OK.

I'm uploading to mega.co.nz using multiple proxies... which might cause corruption.

Once master gets merged into gst-1 I will create new images and md5sum them.

Yes, That's because I'm not hosting a feed.
If you'd like me to include a plugin from the feed let me know and I'll see if I can include it in the next build.

Correct, and we don't want to confuse people by allowing downloads of "derived" images for non-supported hardware from our website. Next thing you know is that people say "but we downloaded it from the openpli website!"...

Very important: Do the images for DMM receiver work completely? Their drivers are not adapted for gstreamer-1 usage (and won't be). Especially the dm8000 may/will pose a problem. The outcome of this will determine whether we can keep on building DMM images (even though unsupported) or that we will have to end it. One way or the other, gstreamer-1 will be included, of course.

My next test-build will have the DM8000 image fixed.

I've only tested gstreamer 1.x on my DM800se since that's the only dreambox receiver I own and I can confirm that gstreamer 1.x works flawlessly.

 

I hope to upload them today.

 

EDIT: Also I guess, more people should report back, also when there aren't any problems or issues.

Since I'm using mega.co.nz I don't have any statistics on the downloads.
