But i hope, this time more luck.

Thanks a lot.

Great beeker, keep us posted :-).
I'm curious whether the dvb modules are loading correctly when the kernel has been built with gcc-5.

Note for vuduo2 master next does not build.

It's building compiler gcc-4xx. using gcc-4xx but : kernel build requires gcc-5 apparently

/home/christophe/openpli50/openpli-oe-core/build/tmp/work-shared/vuduo2/kernel-source/include/linux/compiler-gcc.h:103:30: fatal error: linux/compiler-gcc5.h: No such file or directory

// compiler-gcc4.h is wel present

VU+ kernel should have been fixed yesterday with a patch on their BSP.

Guess that the BSP update not is merged into master-next then .

Good point, it is merged into gst-1 but not in master-next. I think MiLo best does that.

Start building first a base image (MACHINE=XXX make image). If you have a working image then it's time for feeds..

Most probably you build autofs when building feeds and autofs is not dm8000 related.

Edit1. It seems we need to get autofs 5.1.1 to fix problem with gcc 5.2 http://patchwork.ope...g/patch/101067/

@MastaG , thank u for ur work , is there will be any new build images soon for boxes including vu+ boxes?

Currently there is the master-next for pli. Where big changes concerning the base openembedded will be used. Also compilers gcc and the g++ are 5.2.  At this time MiLo is in work to bring this all ok for him its a lot off upstream work. And some stuff is very dificult.

However all those things are needed to keep up with modern evolutions and not stay still with a project wich slowely but shurely will die if the modern standards are not implemented.

This image will also run on gst-1.0  Wich version , That will be decided later one when all major kernel issues and ... are solved. But I gues the day a real beta image will come out it will be gst-1.6.xx .

About gstreamer a lot must be changed , from current plugins and .. base player used . Many off the plugins and or libs they depend on where very out dated and can't be used with gst -1.xx which is modern.

For that it's really great that MastaG does spend so much times in building images with already gst-1.5.1 and 1.5.xx . Already more testers are there and bugs or eighter many times plugins libs who needs an upgrade and or patch ar found.

Once all is done the new pli image will also be on top off modern software and very living.

Don't forget all of the security updates by using the latest openembedded.
Seriously I wish I had much more time to work on this.
But a 40hour work week, studying and family don't leave much time:p
But I'm getting really good at openembedded.

I hope to start building from master-next next week once I'm done with some private builds.

Also if someone has some bandwidth left for hosting a feed please pm me.
It's hard to respect all wishes for plugins and extension while some receivers only feature 64megs of flash.

It's not working at all(no sound, no picture)? Does it work on gstreamer 0.10? Can you post link to sample?
