I am having a problem installing EPG on Blackhole 0.12.
I have installed the 4 python files and the 2 xmltv files into the temp file on my Dreambox 8000 with DCC.
In Nabilosat Addons Manager, manual install lpk packages. They downloaded to my box without any problems.
My question is, what do I do now?
Rytec is not on my EPG list. Do I have to do something directly on my Dreambox with the remote or do I have to download any more files

Install OpenPLi 4?

It does everything the old BH image does and gives you updates along with supported features such as an epg

Up to now I have been happy with BH and my EPG has worked fine until last week when I had to reflash my box. If possible I would like to keep the same system. I think I am quite close If I can't get it working then I will try the Open PLi.

Seriously you have to update your box, if you don't want openpli then maybe look for another image but I doubt you will find anything like the old BH image sorry to say.
At least if you use openpli then you will find support and info here for it even if it is no longer supported.

Good point. Looks like that is the way to go. I will flash my box again. Is the EPG in this image or does it have to be installed afterwards?

It has to be installed afterwards. Everything has to be, OpenPLi doesn't come with a christmas tree attached, as every user is different and has different needs.
The only thing that you can install from the setup wizard is a softcam and a channel list, to get you started.
