Ter info gstreamer developpers receipes 1.11 update to date 24-12-2016.

Ter are many changes and cleanups upstream.

Should build fine into pli master-next (and does work fine since 1.8.3 very unstable and a lot is not ok)

If it's troughly tested by some others I'm prepared to make eventually a patch to include these recipes in master-next.

(I self currently merged to openatv DEV (6.0))

Please consider to include stable version of GStreamer (odd version).

@littlesat, i thought that we are going to stick with OE version? What happened?

I am talking about 1.X where X should be even not odd. Eg 1.10. (Even)

In OpenATV they are using 1.11 an experimental version not stable.

So I was wrong above about odd, odd is for unstable and even for stable.

Hi.

Having a problem with OpenPLI v5 on Vu Solo 4k.

I try "opkg update" and this is the output I get:

Internet connection is fine on this box.

Tried it with wget and also kodi works fine.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

( I basically want to install openvpn )

Your local feed configuration is not ok.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Yeah. How would I change that?

And what's the correct setup?

Dunno, I'm not a builder myself.

The build process generates the feeds locally in your build environment (search for Packages.gz if you don't know where), you need a webserver that points to those feeds, and you need a local hostname for that webserver that you need to configure somewhere, so that it is used instead of "g-System" (which I presume is your local build machine?).

I got that image from here . It's supposed to be a OpenPLI 5.0 beta for VuSolo4k.

I didn't do anything more than flashing my receiver. So I guess it's all the default stuff from OpenPli 5?

There is no official PLi 5 available!
This is a self build image without feed. If you have issues with that please ask where you have downloaded the image.

I understand that.

So there's no way for me to get opkg to work? Even if I change the feeds?

I found a couple of openvpn ipk files, but opkg won't install them.

I only installed that image for Kodi. Otherwise I was pretty happy with OpenPLI 4. But getting kodi in was not straight-forward.

Build it yourself. Or wait until OpenPLi 5 is released.
