With this version you can use only E2Player, to use VUE2Player you need to install vuplus enigma2 kodi plugin.

 

Kodi was tested by me on vusolosev2 and on vusolo2 by @bbbuk, with E2Player it works.

I use VU SOLO 4k. NSA through codes but E2 player does not work. DVD video player is functional but NO audio.

Can you telnet/ssh into box and run kodiext command? What is the output?

Can you provide log of enigma2 after trying to run E2Player in Kodi?

I think this is not very probable, since vuplus has to first update their bsp to allow us to use Kodi in normal openpli image and they could have done it long time ago.

Not really related to Kodi, but to my meta-vuplus fork, branch kodi-16.1.

 

I've updated recipes for hbbtv plugin from openvuplus3.0, since opera-browser and hbbtv plugin from 3rd-party feed are outdated and hbbtv for czech(ct2), slovak(stv1) stations, were not working. With latest version it's working now, It contains also YoutubeTv plugin and opera webbrowser.

It's not possible to install on top of official image, MastaG image already includes pre-installed Kodi.

yes but my images are not maintained anymore.. I doubt the feed-server is still online.

You're better of just following the instructions mx3L posted and build yourself a PLi-5 image.

Then you can give feedback here in the forums

Hello,

Did some updates in enigma2 part of kodi plugin:

 

- enable subservices support - green button (only for serviceapp)

- quicker resume support

- added support for custom service types, so you can add in playercorefactory.xml more players which you can use in Kodi.

For example for serviceapp service types you add these:

      <args>-U "{1}" -S "{3}" -P "$PPID" -X 5002</args>
      <filenamemeta>/tmp/kodiextin.json</filenamemeta>

Then find what you want to play in Kodi, press menu button -> select Play using -> select player.
