Sorry, I am confused now.

 

The service ref: 1:0:1:322:5140:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0 is a ref for channel on the 5W sat.

If you do not have access to this sat, the refs for this sat are not in the lamedb file.  So If you attached a IPTV channel to this ref, in the hope you will have EPG (a very common method for assigning EPG to IPTV channels) this will not work, as for this to work the channel has to in the lamedb.

 

There is a second way of assigning EPG to IPTV channels, but before we go into that, lets first explore the sat route.

 

OTT = Over The TOP.  An term describing set-top boxes.  Boxes you place on top of your TV.  Essentially all our receivers are OTT boxes.  (Sat, DVB-T, cable and even IPTV boxes)

So this does not ring a bell to me.

 

Are you saying this channel is received as IPTV channel?

And if so, How does the Bouquet entry look like?  Does it contain the service ref: 1:0:1:322:5140:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0: ?

 

Do you have access to the 5 W sat?

I receive this channel by Internet and when I choose "Information", "Service" , I get this address. My satellite dish accesses only 19.2 satellite.

OK.  Then I am on the right track.

 

The problem is the service ref is not in your receiver's lamedb.

If this channel is the only channel you have problems with, I can do something to solve your problem.

 

However if there are more channels with the same problem, we can try to add the channels to the lamedb.

Let's try the following:

 

Kill enigma with the command in a telnet window:

 

init 4

 

In the folder on your receiver /etc/enigma2/ rename the file lamedb to lamedb.bak

Unzip the attached lamedb.gz and copy the lamedb to the folder /etc/enigma2/

(This lamedb should contain the channels of 19.2E and 5 W)

 

Restart enigma2 in the telnet window with the command:

 

init 3

 

Wait until enigma2 has restarted. 

At this point you may want to rescan 19.2E.  Although I generated the file today from KingofSat, the file may not be complete.  This rescan will correct the evetually missing channels.  But this rescan can be done also on some later occasion.

 

Now import the French EPG.  And if everything is OK, you should have EPG on the SFRSport3 channel.

PS: if this lamedb has fucked up your reception (which I do not expect).  Kill enigma again (init 4).  Delete the lamedb in /etc/enigma2 and rename the lamedb.bak file to lamedb.

Restart enigma2 (init 3)

Ok, thank you very much Willy. I haven't see it sooner, I was working in the garden and I've received friends. Then I shall try it later because I'm recording this night and I shall record all Sunday (Auto Moto, Moto 3... MX GP, MX GP, downhill mountain bike, serie...) unless I awake earlier .

And there are other channels but I only look at this one. Perhaps I shall need Syfy and 13ème Rue because Canal would loose them this month as they lost SFR Sport 3 (which was names MCS extreme).

 

I don't understand why I can only edit my posts within a few seconds.

Big mistake, Moto GP (3 and 2) and MXGP will be recorded on the cube and the Internet box  .

Sorry, I could not do the test again because it takes a "lot" of time when I do the scan for 19°2 and TNT, perhaps 30 minutes. Perhaps it would be quicker if I do first 19°2 and in a second time TNT because the TNT scan was very very long and I don't remember it was so long when I did it only for TNT.

 

I hope I shall can test it Wednesday because I record all I see and the Xtrend records from 19 h 30 to ~23 h 30 and I'm not at home before 19 h 30.

 

When I used init 4 and init 3, the box didn't want to start when I push the front button, I had to switch off the electric button. Then when I came back, I only rename the lamedb file and I restarted the box from the menu. This file doesn't seem to be locked by Enigma, it must be in memory.

Willy, it's good. I went home earlier and this time I haven't to do scan. It works even if the EPG is "short", but it's the problem of the mobile version site.

I don't know if there were change with SFR Sport 3 OTT but I can't get EPG. The address is the same (1:0:1:322:5140:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0), I've copied again your lamedb file but it doesn't work any more. Have you an idea?

So I do not know why you do not get any EPG for it.

Ok, I've seen this post but I only begin to read the first message.

 

I thought the address was changed, then I've scanned the channels again, replace the lamedb file and restart the box from the box menu ("Restart the receiver"). I don't know why it worked fine previously and not now.

 

I shall try again later.

 

The XMLTV file is in the box or we have only your job result?

It is imported yes, but when the service ref did not exist in the lamedb, nothing is imported.

It's good Willy. As it's different, I had to choice several lines to get all my EPG.

 

Effectively, TV5 Monde was not good.
