Hi Willy, we are missing EPg for TMC on Astra 19.2°east : #SERVICE 1:0:1:21FF:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0::TMC (In fact after a change of symbol rate and fec, TMC gets the same service id as before. Sorry for the double work on this one). wile_e

Do you perform, like I do, a fresh scan of this TP with delete before scan enabled?

I did a manual scan (Analyse manuelle) with "Search criterias defined by the user" using frequency, new symbolrate, new FEC and polarization. Even after a switch to VTI 11, TMC is still working with service ID 1:0:1:21...

Do you select:

Effacer avant d'analyser:  Oui

When you perform your manual scan?

1:0:19:... means HD MPEG-4

1:0:1:... means SD MPEG-2

So this doesn't harm anyone (except for Willy that need to duplicate entries) but strange that you still have the wrong value.

If I choose to delete before the scan, will it delete everything or only the transponder or the satellite position that I am scanning? THe question may sound odd but on another receiver (maybe a Clark Tech that was not E2-compatible, I deleted everything in 2 seconds time with this kind of question). Now if I have a look at the tntsat-bouquet file, tha channels that are "1:0:1:..." are TV5 (OK), L'Equipe, RMC Découverte and Chérie 25

It will only delete the channels from the TPs that you scan and leave the rest untouched. You can trust this function I am always using it when scanning either single TP or full scan and never had problems.

I've verified and I have only 1:0:19...

When you choose to delete before the scan, it deletes all the entries of the chosen tuner. For example, I have a tuner satellite (in fact 2) on Astra and a tuner (2) with TNT. If I choose Astra, it deletes all the channels of Astra which were found previously on Astra, it doesn't delete TNT. It's better to avoid to keep bad entries ;) .

This is not true! It only deletes what it needs to delete!  If you scan one TP on a give satellite it will detele only the info from this TP. If you scan one full satellite it will then delete the full satellite info before scanning.

So no it doesn't delete all the information from a tuner like you say, otherwhise you scan on TP on Astra and if you have a DiseqC configuration it will delete all the other satellites informations too, this is not the case!

I don't know if we speak of the same thing but when I want do a search channels, I choice "Automatic search" and I can choose if I want to clean before the scan and I can also choose the tuner I want to search. If I only choose Tuner A, I only do a search (and a clean) on Astra, if I choose Tuner C, I do the same things with TNT. If I choose Tuner A and C, I do clean and search on the 2 tuners.

In manual scan Use the left right arrow keys to change the search method that you want to use: either a satellite, a multi-sat, a single TP pre-defined, a single TP with custom settings,... and below you each time have: delete before scan.

Hi everyone,

more and more French channels communicate an EPG for daytime programmes but not for the night programmes. For example, TF1 's EPG just shows "Programmes de la nuit" between 2.15am and 6.30am, which is the same as "No program information" or "We won't tell you".

This information is still available here : http://www.tf1pub.fr...ammes/tous/tous but these are pdf files about which I am quite sure that Willy will tell me that they are not grabable.

Does someone here have a source for a complete EPG for these channels? Or can someone extract the content of the pdf for use in Rytec's EPG?

Thanks,

wile_e

I checked several webpages, and they all have the "Programme de la nuit".

If anyone can point me to a webpage which has the info, I will be greatfull.  (PDF pages are not helpfull)

Hi Willy,

there is a date problem in France 3's regional programme.

For example, France 3 Lille shows on Sunday :

8h50 Littoral

9h15 Pourquoi chercher plus loin?

9h50 Nord-pas-de-Calais matin

These programs are never broadcast on Sunday morning or on Saturday morning. S that's why I am thinking about a date problem.

Can you please have a look? (EPG was downloaded a few minutes ago, so it is the latest version).

The France 3 regional programme's are grabbed from telerama.

And this morning (and probably yesterday) this websites was on the blink.

Even today, there are no schedules listed for the france 3 regional variations.  Meaning, there is nothing to check.

Hoepfully they will be back tomorrow.  (it is the only website which list the regional programmes.  All other websites only the national France 3 programmes.  And only mentioned for the couple of hours when there are regional programmes - Dans votre région.
