Google: bootlogo.mvi or you can simply create your own bootlogo using ffmpeg:

ffmpeg -i mypicture.jpg -r 25 -b 20000 mypicture.m1v

Rename mypicture.m1v to bootlogo.mvi and place it in /usr/share/ by ftp (overwriting the existing logo).

 

 

 

Please tell me...In what directory should be located jpg file to ffmpeg completed over telnet conversion...P.S.Great image ...all the best (For this version Albatros working fine-DM 800HD SE)

I have merged all the dreambox related fixes including dflash and dbackup fron oe-a now, thanks babsy98.
Also I have added proper fancontrol for atemio nemesis thanks to MarcinO.
And thanks to joeuser the v.format button will be working in the next spark7162 image.
These will be in the next release.

Meanwhile I've pushed a small update to the current feed for spark/spark7162 (only gstreamer version for now), fixing plugin installation screen.
Users can do a software upgrade for now.

Marlboro2k, different backends for playing back non-dvb video (live and vod streams such as iptv or movies).
I havent tested eplayer much but I find gstreamer much better on my spark7162.
It works for all of my use-cases, iptv streams from e2 bouquets, iptv player plugin and dreamplex.

I had just flashed this image and I love it, thanks very much for all your hard work!

 

But I have one small problem that is the displays of the “On Screen Display” (Osd) exceed my TV screen, so some of the info on the right & left are hidden. As dreambox does not have the feature of adjusting the size of Osd, could you tell me how to manually resize it smaller please?

 

I am using a Dm7020Hdv2 together with an old 25inch TV.

In that case, your only option is to find a skin, which doesn't use the whole screen and will display on old equipment with overscan.

Most modern skins seem to be using the whole screen, due to the amount of info that needs to be displayed.

 

Another option would be to adjust the skin.xml of your favorite skin yourself.

Change to:

<resolution bpp="32" xres="1400" yres="800"/>

Now the display is much better, but still need to shift about 100mm to the right as part display on the left is hidden. I had tried changing the content in this file, “skin_box.xml” but doesn’t seem to change.

Please help!

Changing the resultion of the default PLI skin is not a good idea and will never produce the results you want.

As you have noticed, this add borders to the right and bottom, but doesn't change the left and top.

 

Your best bet is to find a nice skin, without overscan, and use that instead of the default PLI HD skin.

Look under the skins in plugin manager and try a few?

It is working very good on my VU+ Solo SE V2. Will there also be software updates for this image or will there come a new image, perhaps OpenPli 5.0?

Thanks very much Adri, I try and see. I really like this default skin which it displays a small window showing the viewing channel on any feature you are in. As you know, dreambox freezes very frequently, so when it does, I still have something to view at.
