It worked!!! Wooo hoo!! EPG now fully populated.

 

I wish I'd asked before now   I've been unable to set any timers for NHK World for the past 4 years, but now I can.  I'm off to record some Japanese language lessons.

the new frequency was used for 'movies4men' and it still shows the epg info of 'movies4men'

The schedule is included in the Rytec general - Misc source.

This because quite a few providers, have this channel.  And in order to avoid duplication most music channels are included in the Misc file.

So are most News channels included in the News source.

PS: Since this channels cannot be watched anymore on the sat on an enigma2 reciever, I wonder if I can eliminate them from the grabber.

I know illegal IPTV has probably in interest in these, but I am not providing them for illegal use.

Is this an issue with the grabber or have they now been removed?

They have been removed.  Nobody on an enigma2 receiver can watch these channels.  Not on Sky, not on Virgin.

Only "illegal" IPTV is possible.  But since we do not support them....

Hi Willy,

I'm sure I speak for plenty of users but I myself still use enigma boxes for both CS and IPTV, I produce my own bouquets so having the sports was a real asset. I'm sure I won't be the first user to post about these.
Is there no way they can be added back on. Would really appreciate it.
I know you refer to IPTV as been illegal etc but so was CS back in the day.

Re-enabling them is no big problem.  It is just removing the comment characters which I placed around the channels.

 

Removing them was sort of revenge for all the problems the IPTV (and Kodi) people caused us.  And for all the time I have lost teaching people to have EPG for IPTV channels.

A work the providers of IPTV should do.  But they are only interested in taking your money.  An EPG service: no way.

They are welcome to use our sources, but they should provide the link with their channels.

But that is too much to ask.  (or too difficult for those stupid people).

 

I could also make a joke:  GB is not interested in Europe - see Brexit.  You wanted to make Britain great again, but you need us to do it.

And we thank you for given us somebody like Boris and his good friend Donald.
