I understand where you are going with this mx3L but do not forget that when using the Serviceapp plugin with either Mediaplayer or GSTPlayer selected, it works perfectly and streams in 1080p from the same Variant which fails and only gives 360p with Exteplayer3 selected. So this leads me to believe that its not Openssl at fault ?

Hmm, clearly there is a problem when openssl is used from your side to make ssl connection to this server, but as you say it should work, since with gnutls it apparently works.

 

Really don't know know what is the problem, only clue we have is this
