Download the Mount Manager from System Plugins or Extensions, can't remember... Restart E2.
MENU >Setup > System > Mount Manager > my HDD was media/sda1 and my USB Flash Disk was media/usb. Save if... can't remember now. You can edit it, too - in various ways... See the buttons...
Go back by pressing EXIT > to Recording Paths > Default Movie Location > OK > MENU > go to File System > navigate to your HDD's movie folder and > SAVE.
The same can be done for IPTV Player (sending cash, buffer and recording, to a device and folder of your choice) or XMLTV Importer (better than CrossEPG).
Good luck!

@vovan43
Thanks, but I'm not able to download any of them.
I already get some VC1 samples packed in TS(m2ts extension), and they're indeed not playing fluently. We know about this problem, for now it's possible to play these files via servicem2ts(3) for example in standard MediaPlayer/MoviePlayer.

@shy11,
To make a backup of your system do the following.
1. Backup the /boot/autoexec.bat to your computer.
2. Create a raw backup of your usb flash disk.
Now once you'd like to restore:
1. Re-flash the image.
2. Login with telnet and issue the following command:
mount -o remount,rw /boot
3. OVerwrite /boot/autoexec.bat with your backup
4. (optional) Restore the usb flash image

Thank you sir, i will try...questions,
2. Create a raw backup of your USB flash disk.
which utility do you recommend? any possibility to do while it is connected on DM? i had used "hdd raw copy" in the past for something else, hope it can do the job.
1. Re-flash the image.
do you mean simply flash the image like new?
does extend script copy all user/configuration file on USB and leave the base image file on DM flash?

@shy11,
2. Well you cannot create a raw backup from your usb flash disk while it's connected (and mounted) in your dreambox.
You could tar.gz the root-filesystem from your usb flash disk onto your internal hdd, but it's a bit of a hassle.
I think it's easier to just turn off your receiver, unplug the usb and insert it to your pc and use some kind of raw-backup image tool.
In linux you could simply unmount it and do something like: dd if=/dev/sdX of=mybackup.img bs=1M (where sdX = your flash disk)
1, Re-flash, as in download and flash my image from the first post

Hi MastaG, thank you for your image, I've struggled with choppy video playback on avi files for ages and now it's gone and videos play smoothly!
Just one little issue on my Xtrend ET7000, some videos have quiet sound comparing to others. I thought it's the audio codec but it's not. Some audio tracks in MP3 or AC3 format plays normaly, others play very quiet. It's annoying when you switch back to TV boradcast, which has audio level quite high, comparing to those videos with quiet sound. I alway have to adjust the volume from 100% to 10%. Can I adjust this difference somehow? It could be a config file, I don't need graphics options for this.
Anyway, great job!

r-cz, yes I have the same problem. The volume from the video's playing trough the dvbmediasink is quite low compared to the dvb-streams.
I have no clue tbh.
Great69, Sorry but I don't own a Vu+ Solo 4k.
Please post some debug logging.
eg. login with telnet:
init 4
enigma2
Now start Kodi using the Launcher and post the output from the telnet window.
kookesam,
Doesn't this image work? http://jam2.japhar.c...4-spark_usb.zip
