Hi

My Dreambox crashed while using the media player. It got to the end of the film and died while playing in 2, 4 or 8 times forward(can't remember)

Green screen, Enigma reboots

Green screen means there's a dump log. If you can't get it, make a photo of the green screen and post it. We need to know the error message.

Take a photo is close to impossible. This append once and the Enigma restarts automatically -You need to be fast 

the dump should be found in the first post, or you might reefer to something different.

The log does not indicate why it crashed....

Which is why I asked for the screenshot. The message stays on screen for 10 seconds, so you have to be fast, yeah.

New crash green screen

due to lack of free tuner

    due to hanging tuner(this happens some time and I usually have a automatic restart but not lately)

      There was a file but the file was empty

after the second attempt to play it, I got the crash.

I just see the log is extreme limited now.... you do not see many things logged....But when you get a crash or greenscreen you should at least still see in what line of code it crashes... But in this case it looks like it crashes on some kind of stream...

You have files missing for some reason.  Looks like you need to flash it, or remove the "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/Videomode" directory from the commandline, reboot the box, and reinstall the plugin.

 

Not something we can do anything about, we don't make software for a Dreambox One.
