We have discussed this again in the past. If the countries that have this "DVR" tax (I don't know if it is only Germany or there are others as well) bring VU+ to justice for tax fraud, it will be very difficult for VU+ to prove that the pau binary is not their own. However, no country did that till now, although there are a few years that this is happening.

No problem, these messages are 'build warning-messages', you can flash your box with your home build image.

I can say only one thing about this. Wait a few days until we release the Uno4k image, install it, try to find a "pau" executable in our feed (which you won't find), search for a pau binary in the image and then make a recording.

Forget to install that extension most times. VTi have included it.

Maybe don't understand but why is Pau not included in a Pli image? (VTi can record without installing Pau first)

That the principe of OpenPLi, you just install what you really need!  So you need to go into the plugin and download the drivers from there (if available of course), but you need to detect the chipset of your USB stick more than the commercial brand since the same chipset is used by different brands.

Pau is not included in openpli because this a plug-in that helps manufacturers to work a rond customs duties.

Being included in the image or not doesn't change that; neither does the plugin being available on the feeds make any difference in this respect.

On uno4k with openpli，press red button (record) ,nothing will happen, so you konw......

 

I checked extendtions in pli feeds, there is no PAU plugin. So  where should I find the "no esit ipk" ?

 

By the way, I can't browse pli feeds with web browser. Type the catalog directly will return "403 forbidden".

The Uno 4K is able to record without Pau. At least, I haven't installed the plugin.
When testing the Zero and the Solo SE, Pau had to be installed separately.
