My guess would be that the routing for the ethernet PHY is incorrect, or that the RGMII interface timing isn't properly done in the chipset (data and clock lines must be 90 degrees phase shifted) and they didn't instruct the PHY to compensate for that or the PHY cannot compensate at all.

On my (early) et10k the 1GB port hardly ever functions at all. If you have one of the unlucky boxes, best avoid the "vlan" port and only use the 100Mbps interface.

I can confirm on my (early) box, the 100Mbps interface is much more stable.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I just tried doing that, but the entry box on the edit page keeps shrinking, getting smaller each second, making it almost impossible to edit anything...

Yeah, there is something weird going on in some browsers, there's an upgrade on the todo list, it may fix that.
I usually cut the contents to a proper editor, make my changes, and then paste it back.

Which has actually been the only doable way of editing this page for "some time".
