They should be included in the rytecBE_VL_Basic.xz file.

In EPGimport the source: Vlaanderen - Basis (xz)

Links:

1:0:19:192:4:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

1:0:19:193:4:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

1:0:19:191:4:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

If you have these as IPTV, you have to add these links in the custom.channels.xml file.

i looked but i cannot find these channels in the Vlaanderen basic (xz).

Are you sure the ID/ref is correct?!

Are you sure the ID/ref is correct?!

I added the refs to my bouquets folder:

#SERVICE 4097:0:19:192:4:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:http%3a//xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx.ts:PLAY MORE BLACK HD
This 'trick' works fine for other channels (like sky) but for these 3 channels i do not get any EPG

The vlaanderen basic source is loaded (i use this for sattelite also) and working, but for these 3 channels i cannot get the EPG to work.

OK.

Why this trick does not work for you is because these channels are not in your lamedb. (No Telenet cable scanned)

So we have to use another trick.

Copy the attached custom.channels.xml file to /etc/epgimport/ on your receiver.

Run EPGimport.  And ready.

Take a look at the content of the custom file, and you can add other channels if you want.

The full entry is like for LN24.

But only the addition of http%3a// works to identify this as an IPTV channel for which EPG has to be loaded in all cases.

(EPGimport imports only EPG for channels in lamedb.

This is a trick o circumvent this)

An other request.

This time for the belgium channel dobbit tv

epg can be found here https://tvvisie.be/tvgids/dobbit-tv

Then i have an other question, this related to my question on 9the november (here above).

I created the customchannel xml and a custom source xml where i load the rytecBE_VL_Basic.xz file

<sources>
    <sourcecat sourcecatname="Custom IPTV">

IPTV Vlaanderen

    </sourcecat>
</sources>

Now is this file already loaded for my other dutch and belgium channels so this file is loaded 2 timescas epg source.

Can it not be used only once, if so how?

1. The channel Dobbit TV has EPG in the IPTV file under the name DobbitTV.be

So load this file also.

2. You are missing a point with the use of the custom.channels.xml file.

When the custom.channels.xml file is present it will be used for all imports automatically.

You can observe this behaviour in the EPGimport log

So you do not have to define an extra source for it.

You can simply remove this extra source. (or rename it with the extension .bak)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
?!

This depends on what you have in the bouquetfile for this channel.

In the rytec.channels.xml file this is included:

1:0:1:456:B:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

Which is for the telenet version of the channel. I do not know however if this is correct (do not have telenet myself)

So have a look in the bouquetfile which service ref is used for dobbit TV.

And construct in the custom.channels.xml file something like this, if it is a stream:

1:0:1:456:B:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:http%3a//

Replace 1:0:1:456:B:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0: with the service ref you used in the bouquetfile for this channel.

Or use 1:0:1:456:B:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0: in the bouquetfile to define the service of Dobbit TV in the bouetfile. (still add the above in the custom.channels.xml file)

PS: Is there a stream url for Dobbit TV?

Wrong EPG for channel dobbit TV

Can the EPG please be corrected, the correct EPG can be found here:

https://tvvisie.be/tvgids/dobbit-tv

The EPG data currently shown is a complete different one as shown on the URL above, the URL seems to be the same as what is shown on the iptv stream

Do you have the URL for the IPTV stream? (Interested in this)

Secondly: the schedule included in the IPTV file for this station is the same as on the TV-Visie website.

But be aware that the schedule in the XMLTV file is in UTC. So one hour different from the Belgium timezone.

Most receivers will automatically correct for this.

is a stream via 'ali-express' where this channel is included.

About the time difference, i am from NL, so there is no time difference with Belgium, haha

The EPG on the website is on a Belgium website, so it should be correct.

Haha.

I am well aware of timezones and the sort.

The Dobbit schedule is taken from telenet.

Take a look at this: https://static.spark.../20230112120000

and look at:  "startTime":

There is a 10 digit number which is in Epoch time. (or Unix time) f.i 1673528400

This is always in GMT time. (actually it is the time in seconds that has passed since 1/1/1970 00:00)

And I try not to mess around with this.

There is on the web an epoch convertor (actualy there are more)

https://www.epochconverter.com/

Enigma2 understands perfectly a schedule given in GMT.

An example:

  <programme start="20230111112300 +0000" stop="20230111114100 +0000" channel="DobbitTV.be">

Roger

    <sub-title lang="nl">[Doe Het Zelf, Huis & Tuin] Ramen plaatsen 1 (2021) [BE]</sub-title>
    <desc lang="nl">In twee afleveringen zie je hoe je zelf ramen plaatst. Dat lijkt een uitdagende klus, maar die is eigenlijk gemakkelijker dan je denkt.</desc>
  </programme>

The +0000 in the start and stop strings are the indication of the timezone this schedule is given in.

start="20230111112300 +0000" is equal to start="20230111113300 +0100"

If your player is giving you the wrong schedule, complain to the writer of this piece of crap software that it should understand timezones.

I use enigma2 as streamer and rytec as software for EPG.......

I only noticed that the EPG is not correct, it seems it is not a time difference issue but simply a complete different EPG, i think same channel name but with different program schedules.

Since it is an iptv channel, what is the service ref you use for this channel?

Have you defined it in the custom.channels.xml file?

The schedule under the name dobbitTV is the correct one.

So it could be the link.

I use this trick in userbouqet:

SERVICE 4097:0:1:456:B:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:http%3a//xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:DOBBIT TV

and in custom.channels.xml:

1:0:1:456:B:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:http%3a//

That should work.

Checked the channels file, and no other link exist for this service ref.

What is the error then? I am puzzled.

Is the channel in Dutch? Or in French?

There exist a channel with the same name in the Walloon part of the country. (which I do not grab)

See attached file

I do not get any error, it seems that the EPG on the website is about 15 later then the EPG shown by the enigma2 box

For example:

On my VU+ EPG shows: 'Het zelfbouw huis' 20:57-21:20, this is imported using the above settings and rytec EPG data on my enigma2 box.

On the website this program is listed at: 21:15-21:38, on telenet website it is listed at exactly the same time so both websites have the same time, but the EPG on the box shows an incorrect time, all other (belgium and NL) channels on my box have the correct EPG time.

I watch the Dutch version.

No, op de telenet website: telenet.tv staat dit:

Attached File  Het Zelfbouwhuis.PNG   24.34KB   1 downloads

Begintijd 20:57 zoals geïmporteerd.

Maar e.e.a betekent dus dat ik een andere website zal moeten grabben.

Op Yelo kan ik dit grabben:

  <programme start="20230112201500 +0000" stop="20230112203800 +0000" channel="DOBBIT TV">

Het zelfbouwhuis

    <sub-title lang="nl">[Vrije Tijd] Zelf funderingen graven (E7)</sub-title>
    <desc lang="nl">Onder leiding van de aannemer graven we de funderingen. Daarvoor baseren we ons op het plan en de assen. De funderingen worden verstevigd met de wapening. Dan begint de bekisting: hoe doe je dat zelf? Vooraleer de vloerplaat gegoten kan worden, moeten ook de rioleringsbuizen en aardingslus klaar zitten.</desc>
  </programme>
