As topic.

 

Tried changing cables, replace tuners, connections. No matter what, tuner A and B is working, Tuner C and D is not working.

I get full signalstrength but no picture (error msg SSID not found or something like that).

If I try a search tuner C and D finds a few channels (15-20) out of approx 2000 when searching Tuner A and B.

Rollback to last downloaded image (2017-01-31) and everything is working again.

 

Obvious softwarerelated issue.

 

Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

 

And how do I help solve this?

Got no crashlog since the box never crashed, but can I help in any other way?

The problem is already known. The tuners C and D are also labelled as tuner A.

Thanks, then I'll hold the updates for a while. Wife gets pretty mad when her quadruple timers don't work. See, she's pregnant so the hormones and the temper is raging quite a bit when she misses out on "Masterchef", "Bachelor" and "Teen mom"

The problem comes from the drivers of Duo2.

It misses an option that "instructs" Enigma2 to initialize or not the input.

There is a solution posted here:

The best solution to the problem is manufacturer to add the missing inputX_choices. And the solution posted above simply does that.

The whole thing is a fight between new and old, between generalization and specialization...

If the only receiver affected is Vu Duo2, then preinstalling above solution might be handy until manufacturer fixes the issue.

Yes i have this also after recent update, i have to restore all by automatic fullbackup.Some time ago this was also problem and after maybe one week, new update fix that problem.So who blame for this ?????

Tried to post the problem in the developers own forum (vuplus-support.org), but my german is pretty worthless these days so I gave up.

I guess someone will succeed getting it through to to the right person, but until then I'll just keep my box as it is.

 

And Roman 42, there's no one to blame, it's just things like this that happens sometimes when you're trying to hard to make things better. You accidentally break something else you never even intended to affect.

Maybe but i think so might be better that new builds should be one per week not everyday, IMO they deliver minor improvments.

It is not because the image is build everyday that you need to update your box daily.  You can decide to update only once a week so the result will be the same.

Just moment ago i've check and done update and again the same on tuner C/D - appear warning :No data on transponder (Timeout reading PAT )   Come on guys just fixed that to the previous working properly version !!!! 3 weeks and problem unsolved

And described which setup you have on your different tuners.

Ah    i've restore all from buckup and for now i can't done this due recording couple programs right now.Maybe tommorow i do this and i have sutup : Tuner A and B connect to motorised 180 cm parabolic dish (dual LNB) tuner C and D connect to 90 cm dish only for Hot Bird (quad LNB).As tuner E  i am using also problematic VU+ Turbo USB DVB-T2.

As mentioned earlier, this is a driver problem, which can only be fixed by the manufacturer. Who has been asked to fix it.

For now I am sticking with old Enigma. Third tuner is "dead" with newest changes. I am not putting a lot of hope into VU+.

Usually we get a response on this kind of requests, but often they are not very fast, so it may take some time, and maybe a few reminders...
