In the OpenWebif if you click on the TV just on the left of your favorite name it will download the full channel list that is in this particular favorite.

Then ensure that the option zap before stream is ticked in OpenWebif and you can zap from within VLC.

 

But if you click on the TV close to a channel name it will only download the .m3u for this particular channel.

I have enabled zap ...

It does not work the same.
I do not use vlc but dreamstream .

Can you add a command to the "dreamstream.cfg" file to turn the decoder on and off?
