Since installing OpenPLi6 and updating when updates are available, I have had an issue with my vu ultimo 4k.

Frequently, when changing channel there will be no signal reported.

Sometimes it will appear eventually, but sometimes I must move up or down a few channels to get a signal.

Is this likely to be OpenPLi6 at fault or something else?

Use stepskip keys (1,3,4,6,7,9) instead (re)winding.... as rewinding is tricky for some drivers...

Hello,

Just wanted to let you know that I am currently enjoying the new OpenPLi 6.0 RC!! :-D

I just purchased a brand new Zgemma H7S and received it last Thursday, late yesterday I flashed my box with your 6.0 RC and everything is going very well! No crashes or errors! I am looking for the new 6.0 Beta version to be released soon. :-)

I wish and hope the new 6.0 version might include more detailed Transponder Manual searches. Say I input my Satellite Transponder frequency information, but I can also enter in specific Audio/Video PID Values, and have the receiver then perform a Manual Scan with those values entered to give me new hidden channels or new Audio Channels not otherwise picked up on a normal Blind Scan. Could this please be considered in a future release? I know many people here in the US would love to have new options as far as scanning in Satellite Channels.

Continue to keep up the great work, I may consider making a contribution soon!

That shouldn't cause a segfault?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Just out of curiosity,

openpli-6.0-rc zipped images take about 40% space more than those of openpli-4.0-beta.

What extra code in particular contributes to such big increase?

Thanks.

Besides overall PLI 4.0 , now in new image, lack one small feature- on recordings list should be possibility to mark each file independent for copy or move option by "x' in square on left side. This is more convinience then present feature. For example in main folder/MENU.On my old Humax Icord HD was this very usefull.

Found my 2nd Bug. The 2nd Infobar is not to disable. After Reboot the menu switches back from "keine" to "kein timeout" by itself. Plz fix. ;)

There is a crash when playing a video, then pressing the yellow button twice to access 'subtitle selection' and then the blue button for 'subtitle quickmenu'.

The crashlog is empty!??

The second crash is triggered when opening a terrestrial channels list and pressing menu - show transponder info.
