After updating on my VU Ultimo 4K, I cannot access radio channels.

Radio button on remote does nothing after update.

I've had this also 2 times (a couple of weeks ago, not anymore since then). What did the trick with me was go in the channels list (arrow up or down) and then press the radio button and select a radio station. After this switching to TV/Radio was back to normal.

Already tried that and not working for me.

The box is receiving the signal as the power icon on the mini screen flashes but nothing at all happens on screen and no access to radio stations.

You haven't installed anything that hijacks the button, or used hotkey to map the key to something else?

Are you able to login with telnet, and start  Enigma in debug mode?

init 4
ENIGMA_DEBUG_LVL=4 enigma2

you so see a response in de debug output when you press a key on the remote that isn't handled.

After testing, press ctrl-C, and use

init 3

to restart Enigma in it's standard mode.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I have not installed any plugins or anything for some time.

Not used Hotkey to map the key. Don't know how to. :)

I will try those commands when I can.

OK, I have done the above.

When I press radio button on remote, I get Action -> InfobarActions ShowRadio but radio channels still not showing.

Ok, so that at least means the button is assigned to something.

What box exactly? And what date did you last flash 6.0-rc?

VU Ultimo 4K.

I updated the s/w yesterday and today.

The actual flash was 3 to 4 weeks ago, but I check daily for updates and always update.

The 6.0-rc hasn't been always stable, if you flashed a long time ago (= before 5-8/8), you might try flashing again.

Issues in packages that are part of the base install aren't always fixed with an update.

And you can not contact the box at all? Or is it only samba that doesn't work anymore?

Does the box otherwise still work fine? Does the web interface still work? Can you still connect to the box via telnet or FTP?

If it is any help I have experienced the same several times (on 2 HD2400 boxes with RC6). Connecting from windows to \\x.x.x.x doesn't work sometimes (while the webif, telnet and SSH can be reached, so it seems Samba related). Rebooting solves the issue. I've also seen this happen right after a reboot (but then another reboor and it worked fine again). It isn't accurately reproducable sometimes I notice it (and do a restart)

i have reatched the same problem  ( Connecting from windows to \\x.x.x.x doesn't work (while the webif, telnet and SSH can be reached). i solved this  problem by flashing the original kernel of my box (vu+ uno) and from there no problem to connecting to my box that why i guess is a kernel  issue
