This worked as it should although my wifi range isn't that good, so I can't confirm nor explain the crash for that user.
I also tried a random V4 image which also worked properly.
Another issue is present at my Duo2 though, which obviously has nothing to do with the other issue. Autodiseqc doesn't work properly on this box but that is an issue which is present for a long time. It doesn't bother me as the diseqc configuration is well known.

There is probably no driver available for our old kernel setup. We don't really put any effort in DMM anymore, we don't have the time to reverse-engineer their closed source.
There is a community effort on the way to look at DMM support for OpenPLi 6, maybe they can be of some assistance. You may have to use Google to search the forums.
The sound like a new box i the right choice !!!
Is VU+ Ultimo 4K HD a god choice ??
It all depends what you want to use it for and what other hardware you are attaching it to.
4K all the way ends in a Sony 4K proj to 260" screen, want S2 end T2 in same box in Sweden all channels in HD is on T2. so is Vu a good box or is it a problem box

At least make sure the T2 comes in from a pluggable tuner and not an USB device.

What kind of backup?
If you want to make a backup of only the configuration, use the autobackup plugin, which is already installed. If you want to make a full image backup that you can flash again, use the backupsuite plugin.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi,
Sounds like OpenPLi RC6 doesn't include this trick to "shutdown" the VU+ Solo4K front LCD during reboot:
https://forums.openp...cd-during-boot/
And more specifically this:

I just check and lcd4linux is installed on my box but I setup nothing in it (isn't it installed by default?), so lcd4linux is doing nothing for me.
And I must say that I use the skin Pli Full HD night and the text is really too small to be easily readable in LCD4Linux plugin, the policy size should be adapted to make it readable.
